@benevolent-snake-pit
So I have been cooking art for a certain old man and headcanon relationship lately.
Enjoying the Horrors?
Honestly yes, yes I do. They're fun! And interesting! And terrifying! Of course I love them!
And this is why I'll now give you my unrequested top 5 Powers - for now at least:
______________
5) The Buried
Amigara Fault vibes always appreciated
The Casket accompanied us for seasons and I feel attached to it. Also, it sings in the rain, which is weirdly peaceful
Love the contrast between the fear of being stuck underground forever vs the attraction of what's hidden below the earth, all those secrets waiting to be discovered
______________
4) The End
The holy Power for lazy people. All you have to do is sit and wait, because everything is destined to die anyway (this also means The End is the most powerful horror of them all, because all of them will inevitably succumb to The End)
Doesn't even have a ritual, because why wasting time when you can chill
It's viscerally universal, because it's related to the biggest mystery of life and the universe: death itself
______________
3) The Spiral / The Distortion
Michael was my Best Boyo and I loved everything about him, from his laugh, to his voice, to the creepy echo
Helen is a good Distortion and she's bestie with Melanie - which is right and good, because they both deserve a bestie
It's a weird Power. I don't get it entirely, but I like how trippy it is and the constant identity crisis is fascinating as well
______________
2) The Vast
Simon Fairchild is a funny old man
Theatrics because he can
It's such a fascinating fear! It makes you feel small and alone, it gives you a sense of dread... but it also makes you feel awe and respect, while facing things much larger and powerful than us, like the ocean or the universe
______________
1) The Eye
Big loser know-it-all <3
Knowledge means power. But also accepting everyone flaws and all
The avatars of The Eye live the best life! They compel people to talk about their secrets, learn something new everyday and use their knowledge to get what they want/do whatever they want. Absolute. Win.
I love seeing them together 🌊⚡️
Another old art I did from last year
Hi, my name is Mosab , and I’m from Gaza. Life here has been harder than I could ever imagine, but today I’m sharing my story with hope in my heart, because your kindness has already given us so much strength.
This journey hasn’t been easy. The war has taken 25 family members from us—25 beautiful souls we loved deeply. Their laughter, their presence, their love… all of it is gone, leaving behind memories that are both precious and painful. Every day, I carry the weight of their loss, but I also carry their spirit, which gives me the strength to keep going.
Our Journey So Far When I first reached out, I couldn’t have imagined we’d make it this far. Thanks to your incredible kindness, we’ve reached 19,800 out of 30,000. Your support has been a light in these difficult times, and we are so deeply grateful for every single contribution.
But the road ahead is still challenging. Every day, we’re reminded of how much we’ve lost and how much we still need to rebuild.
Here’s what life in Gaza looks like for my family right now: 🏠 Safety: The uncertainty of tomorrow weighs heavily on us. 😢 Loss: The absence of the 25 family members we’ve lost is a pain we carry every moment. 💔 Dreams on Hold: The future feels so far away when survival takes all our strength.
How You Can Help Us Cross the Finish Line Even the smallest act of kindness can make a difference:
$5 might not seem like much, but it could mean a meal, clean water, or a tiny bit of hope for my family.
Can’t donate? Reblog this post to help us reach someone who can. Every share matters more than you know.
Why Your Support Matters Your kindness isn’t just about helping us meet our goal—it’s about reminding us that we’re not alone in this fight. It’s about hope. It’s about survival. And it’s about giving my family a chance to rebuild our lives, even in the face of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for helping us get this far. Your generosity and compassion have already brought us closer to a better tomorrow, and for that, I’m endlessly grateful.
With all my love and gratitude, Mosab and Family ❤️
