Till death do us part? Yea no you’re not getting out of this that easily
Someone: Hey! How’s the writing going?
Me: AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH! *clears throat* It’s going well.
so many ways a character can be dog-coded. stray following someone home and begging for scraps. old and needs to be put out of its misery. attack dog. guard dog. lap dog. puppy that pees on the carpet from excitement. shelter dog just happy to finally have feet to curl up on. unsocialized that bites anyone trying to show kindness. silly goofy puddle monster. obedient until the leash comes off
the sexual tension between me and the new wip idea that’s been sitting in the back of my head and distracting me the whole day
personally I think an underutilized ship dynamic is "this is so ill-advised that we are both aware on some level that it cannot possibly end in anything but a breakup so acrimonious that we'll spend the rest of our lives hunting each other for sport, but we have decided to keep making out with each other anyway."
nah man i cant come over tomorrow im gonna listen to songs and think about characters. yeah no its gonna be all day
if writing your novel doesn’t feel like herding cats, your characters aren’t developed enough
