Just new to the concept of Drabble writing. Here's one of my latest attempts.

Cannons erupted like thunder across the waters as two ships broadsided each other. The larger brig of the Kul Tiran Navy outgunned the smaller cutter of the pirates, but where the pirates lacked in firepower, they made up for in tenacity. Billy heaved on the heavy bronze cannon to reload another shot. Like sangrenel rounds, they used bags filled with tar in hopes to ignite fires on the enemy brig. Billy stirred the bubbling pot filled with tar, thick and black like coffee. Then the sailor loaded the shot followed by the water-drenched bag of tar. “FIRE!” the master gunner yelled.

AI Generated Backstory

AI Prompt:

Billy Skellig Kul tiran sailor from Anglepoint Bay sailed with Prince Arthas’ fleet to icy Northrend where he was betrayed by the Prince and drowned with the fleet. Raised as undead scourge and under the Lich King’s control for years until he broke free with the Forsaken and joined the Horde. Now he sails the seas as a pirate and smuggler.

AI Generated Backstory:

Billy Skellig was born in the coastal town of Anglepoint Bay, as the son of a Kul Tiran fisherman. From a young age, he was fascinated by the sea and dreamed of one day becoming a sailor himself. As he grew older, he apprenticed under his father and eventually became a skilled sailor in his own right.

In his early twenties, Billy was recruited to join Prince Arthas' fleet as they set sail for the icy continent of Northrend. He eagerly accepted the opportunity, seeing it as a chance to prove himself and make a name for himself among the sailors of Kul Tiras.

However, things took a dark turn when Prince Arthas betrayed his men and drowned the entire fleet. Billy was among the many sailors who lost their lives in the icy waters.

But death was not the end for Billy, as he was raised as an undead by the Lich King and forced to serve as a member of the Scourge. For years, Billy was under the Lich King's control, his will and memories subsumed by the icy grip of the king.

However, Billy's will to live and desire to be free never died, and eventually he was able to break free from the Lich King's control and joined the Forsaken, a group of undead who had also broken free from the Lich King's control.

With the Forsaken, Billy found a new purpose in life and a new family. He distinguished himself as a fierce and skilled warrior, and was eventually accepted as a member of the Horde, an alliance of races united in their fight against the Lich King and the Scourge.

With the end of the war, Billy turned to a life of piracy and smuggling, using his knowledge of the seas and his fearsome reputation to become one of the most successful and feared pirates on the seas. Despite his dark past and the atrocities he committed as a member of the Scourge, Billy is respected and even admired by many of his fellow sailors and pirates, who see him as a symbol of resilience and determination in the face of adversity.
