The Thing That Makes My Heart Absolutely Soar Every Time I Think About It: Connor’s An Absolute Chaotic

The thing that makes my heart absolutely soar every time I think about it: Connor’s an absolute chaotic dork once he lets his true colors shine through.

Once the existential crisis of him being an actual person with his own thoughts and emotions passes, Hank and everyone around him sees him evolve into the chaotic dork he really is.

Once someone brings a topic up that at he just so happens to be passionate about, his eyes are glimmering and he’s rocking on the balls of his feet and gesturing wildly with his hands. When he gets downtime at home with Sumo, he’s chucking that tennis ball and chasing after it alongside the dog (but takes breaks and plays nice, as Sumo’s an older dog). And my god, Connor loves to run. Doesn’t matter where he’s going, but it makes him feel so free to run, and run, and run. Once he’s invited to a social gathering, he appears shy in the first hour or so, but then he’s comfortable and laughing, joking, shouting, singing and dancing to the best of his ability (which is not amazing. Connor wasn’t gifted with slow-dancing abilities, just erratic and funny ones).

Of course he needs downtime too, which is what he does while he’s at home. He typically spends time brushing, walking, or caring for Sumo. Maybe he’ll make a meal with Hank. Sometimes he’ll lay, curled up in his bed, reading a yellow-paged book that he borrowed from Hank.

So yes, Connor is a chaotic social butterfly once he’s given the ability to feel happiness and excitement. He absolutely will grab you into a bear hug and ask you a million and one questions about topics that he typically knows more about, just so he can info-dump on you. His hair used to be styled and clean at all hours of the day (even at night) but now that his true colors have shown through, it’s always a floofy mess of chestnut colored curls.

Mainly inspired off of Bryan Dechart’s craziness over on his Twitch channel, and his own headcanons that he has for deviated Connor.
