It's hilarious to think of Bruce who considers Clark to be his best friend, trusts him implicitly, and thinks Clark is the person who knows him better than anyone outside his family, but when timkon or jondami start dating he realizes that there is a very real possibility that they could become...*shudders*...in-laws, and is horrified.
I cope using humor okay ššš
in my ideal world there was a second yj98 spinoff comic that ran in 2003 called "saint elias" that is gotham academy-esque and followed the adventures of newly-humanified greta and recently-retired anita as they joined saint elias school for girls alongside cissie and traya
I am definitely going to be posting more about this >:) potentially even with a fic series if I can get my shit together heart emoji

i was going thru my personal batfam timeline and realized just how funny some events line up. like timās introduction to the story lining up with one of the edgiest arcs of dickās, resulting in this interaction
Iām seated. The theater employees are scared and asking me to leave because the book is not even out yet much less the movie but Iām simply too seated
batman and robin :)
Bruce and Jason are like "Joker is the embodiment of evil." Meanwhile Duke and Barbara are like "Joker is just some loser."
the dialogue around babs and her disability is so cooked because if there was some understanding that disabled people with a mobility aid ā whether it be a chair, a frame, a walking stick, a scooter, prosthesis, whatever ā arenāt ātrappedā by the devices designed to help them navigate the world we wouldnāt be stuck having the same reductive conversations. kim yale and john ostrander reintroduced babs as a disabled woman who took pride in her intelligence and abilities and saw her wheelchair as a means of reclaiming her independence and autonomy. she removes the handles on the chair because no one, whether it be her father or batman or darkseid, gets to push her around. taking that from her is an act of violence, whether ur tom taylor who canāt envision a world where disabled people are respected and capable unless they are magically cured, or a random online who thinks stealing the wheels off someoneās wheelchair is funny
despite the cass cain heavy apperence this is both a dc and a marvel blogcass cain just happens to be the coolest person ever(and the charcter that got me into comics)always happy to talk about all things comic related!!!(though I admittedly know more about DC)
