I am Falestine, Jad Al-Haq, I am 37 years old, married, and I have a eight-month-old child named Youssef. I gave birth to him during the war during very harsh conditions that no human being can bear. I moved from the hospital immediately after giving birth to the tent in which we were staying after we were displaced to it after the Israeli bulldozers completely bulldozed my house. and my suffering did not start from here. Rather, it began since the beginning of the war, and I am still suffering. I cannot provide enough milk for my baby or diapers. Even medicines and vitamins are not available.

I ask you for your urgent help in disseminating the link to my family and communicating it to people interested and able to help us. I didn't want to do it, but the tragic situation we are living in is what pushed me to do it. I feel sad and helpless, after we had everything, we are now homeless on the streets, living in a tent next to a dilapidated public toilet and there is sewage, dirt and waste everywhere, we sleep on it! We suffer from terrible heat, insects, scorpions, the danger of death, bombs and missiles, in addition to hunger of course, the danger of pollution and terrible diseases, especially the digestive, respiratory and reproductive systems!

. My father and mother could not bear it any longer. My father had a stroke after losing his home and his place of work, and my mother suffers from chronic diseases and needs treatment.

Do you have the right to imagine that when you spend your life building for yourself and your children to live a decent life, all of this disappears in the blink of an eye, and now when you reach the age where you should rest, you are forced to start again!!? But the most important thing now is to try to survive and protect your children from all the factors of death that surround us! I ask everyone who has humanity or conscience to feel our situation and put themselves in our place. How can someone who has lived with dignity all his life accept this? We are slowly dying every day.

Major update on Nour’s condition

First, I want to thank you all so much for your incredible generosity. Because of you, we were able to raise $4,000 USD in just 2 full days. I cannot put into words how remarkable this is. When we received word of the refund, that we lost more than $3000, Nour’s family and I were completely without hope. But you all accomplished the impossible.

It is only because of what you accomplished that I now believe we can meet our next goal.

Nour was able to undergo surgery. It was long and extremely difficult for the doctors. The surgery was ultimately successful. However, Nour’s condition is not resolved. The immediate danger has been met, but now Nour requires a new medication and diet to survive.

This medication will cost $2000 USD every week. Her new diet requires she consume 2 eggs a day, so 14 every week. As of right now, the average cost of eggs in Gaza is $8 USD. 2000 + (14 x 8) = $2,112 USD a week

browsing today, we saw a big amusement park with small children in it. My little girl, who is 7 years old and has lived under the burden of war for more than a year and a half, saw it and asked me innocently: “Mama, where is this? Are they in heaven?” I imagine a day when this war ends, and I wonder: How will everything affect the children? How long will it take them to start recovering? Indeed, will they even know what life means away from the sound of shells, away from life without electricity, away from destruction everywhere, away from famine, away from lack of food and sweets?

Help save a Palestinian family this Christmas!

Hello! @fadel-dani had reached out to me again to post about his campaign, which at the time of writing this is only at €639/€10k of his goal, to which I thank everyone as well who had helped and shared so far! His previous campaign was suspended, leaving him to make an entirely new one. His campaign has been vetted by @gazavetters (#197 on their spreadsheet)

Fadel and his family have moved more than five times now due to the occupation, and Fadel, a third year IT student, had to register to study remotely as his university has been destroyed. What's worse is that he has been hospitalized and had to undergo surgery to remove the shrapnel from his body, and still has to leave Gaza in order to treatment to remove the rest of it.

I hope that you will share or donate if you can, as well as pray for his recovery and survival this Christmas, for him and his family and for everyone in Palestine! Thank you!

Yesterday was my pay day, and as such, I donated another €25 to my friend Ahmed and his family's fundraiser to stay alive in and escape Gaza. Can anyone match this amount? I am trying to get them to €43k by the end of January, and with an uncertain administration looming here in the US, I would urge all of my fellow US citizens to donate now as much as ever.
