This we know that no matter how much suffering has happened in our lives there have also been glimmers of glory. If we keep harping about what went wrong or wasn’t fair or is regretted, we discard the glimmers, those moments of love that made all the difference, moments in which we realized that having a life at all is a wonderous gift.

The universe responds to your frequency. It doesn't recognise your personal desires, wants or needs. It only understands the frequency in which you are vibrating at. For example; if you are vibrating in the frequency of fear, guilt or shame you are going to attract things of a similar vibration. If you are vibrating in the frequency of love, joy and abundance, you are going to attract things that support that frequency. It's kinda like tuning into a radio station. You have to be tuning into the music you want to listen to just like you have to be tuned into the energy you want to manifest into your life. Change your mindset, it will change your life.

Sylvia Plath, from a letter featured in The Letters of Sylvia Plath Vol. 1: 1940-1956
disabled people who do not directly "contribute" to society and need large amounts of care and resources to survive deserve not only to survive but to have comfort, stability, and fun within their lives while they do. no compromises.
Today is World Mental Health Day.
Peeps, there’s a reason I talk about my bad days. There’s a reason I talk about my struggles with the Brain Raccoons. Because when I was younger, people didn’t talk about mental health. If they did, it was in pitying or scared whispers. And if your brain didn’t work like “normal people’s”, you didn’t talk about it for fear of … a lot of things. Discrimination was the mildest of those things to fear.
You know what? Fuck all that. No one’s brains work like anyone else’s. If yours isn’t working the way you think it should be, if you’re dealing with emotions or thoughts that make you feel like you’re struggling, there’s help out there. You don’t have to be stuck in that horrible, dark place.
Please, please don’t feel like you’re alone, and don’t give up hope.
Every lesson forms a new scar.even when you’re sleeping keep your eyes open.
