This we know that no matter how much suffering has happened in our lives there have also been glimmers of glory. If we keep harping about what went wrong or wasnβt fair or is regretted, we discard the glimmers, those moments of love that made all the difference, moments in which we realized that having a life at all is a wonderous gift.

Today is World Mental Health Day.
Peeps, thereβs a reason I talk about my bad days. Thereβs a reason I talk about my struggles with the Brain Raccoons. Because when I was younger, people didnβt talk about mental health.Β If they did, it was in pitying or scared whispers. And if your brain didnβt work likeΒ βnormal peopleβsβ, you didnβt talk about it for fear of β¦ a lot of things. Discrimination was the mildest of those things to fear.
You know what? Fuck all that. No oneβs brains work like anyone elseβs. If yours isnβt working the way you think it should be, if youβre dealing with emotions or thoughts that make you feel like youβre struggling, thereβs help out there. You donβt have to be stuck in that horrible, dark place.
Please, please donβt feel like youβre alone, and donβt give up hope.
everyday i get more spooky and unhinged
