How to Smell Dreamy (Body Care Tips + Routine)

One of my Dream Girl goals is to get more invested in body care; a huge part of that is learning how to make my body smell good! (fragrance wise) I feel like I've finally cracked the code for myself, and I'm ready to share it!

In Shower

Washing order:

♡ face ♡ feminine area ♡ hair ♡ body (arms, legs, stomach, back)

♡ bum

♡feet

Face and Feminine Area

Your face and feminine area are the two most sensitive parts of your body, which is why they should be cleansed first. Cleanse your face first to avoid getting any unwanted body care products on your face.

Next, your Feminine area. Your feminine has a lot of hidden creases; if it's not cleansed properly, you can get buildup around your "inner lips" (labia minora) which will cause odor.

♡ Take a wet Q-tip and clean your "inner lips" and clitoris. If needed, use a hand mirror to make sure you're removing any possible build-up.

♡ After you are done (with clean hands) wash the entire area. DO NOT wash inside of the hole, and DON'T use a fragrance wash. Simply using warm water is the best option, but if you feel more comfortable using a wash, my favorites are the Unscented and Peppermint Dr. Bronner's Castile Soap and Honey Pot's foam wash.

Tip: If you are experiencing a slight odor, wash with diluted apple cider vinegar to help balance your PH.

Hair

Hair products and the buildup from your hair can cause breakouts. Wash your hair first, so then you can make sure everything is rinsed and cleansed off after.

Cleaning Body

♡ Start by washing your entire body with SOAP. Girlies... Dove is not soap. Dove is a "moisturizing beauty bar with a mild cleanser." Which mild is okay for washing your face, but not your body, in my opinion.

Of course, use what you want, but I suggest at least mixing it with soap. As always, I recommend Dr.Bronners Soap.

- Use an exfoliating cloth to clean your back. This will help get those hard-to-reach places and prevent/clear any bacne.

- Don't forget to wash behind your ears, your neck, and your belly button.

♡ Now exfoliate. You should exfoliate once or twice a week. DON'T use sugar scrubs!! Super unsanitary. I don't know much about chemical exfoliants, but I am currently using Soap and Glory: Scrub of your life - and I'm obsessed.

- Exfoliate your neck, arms, shoulder, (bum) cheeks, and legs. You can also exfoliate your armpits, but DO NOT exfoliate your armpits on shaving day.

Making body smell good (the fun part!)

♡ Use products with strong scents. I personally find that creamy body washes have stronger and lasting scents.

♡ Apply products directly to the skin to prevent them from absorbing too much into what you're using to wash.

♡ Layer your products - use products with the same notes.

♡ DO NOT immediately wash the products off - let it sit for at least 2-5 minutes, so the scent can stick to your skin.

Bum And Feet

♡ Use your washcloth to clean your bum last since it holds the most bacteria. I like mixing soap and Vagisil.

♡ Lastly, your feet. Use a foot brush and callus remover.

- DON'T use the same washcloth for days - Washcloths should be put in the laundry after every use.

Out of Shower

♡ (With clean hands) apply face products.

♡ Apply your scented lotion to damp skin, so it will absorb into your skin.

- Mix your lotion with perfume oil for an even stronger and lasting scent!

♡ Apply Deodorant - If you are a sweaty girl, use dry spray deodorant and apply it to all of your problem areas.

♡ Apply perfume to pulse points - Put vaseline on pulse points first and DON'T rub in the perfume.

♡ Get Dressed and then apply a generous amount of (matching) body mist all over your body.

Now you should be feeling good and smelling dreamy!

It was the night after your slightly discouraging art display, and you'd fallen asleep at your mini desk. The air was cool, with a slight wind blowing outside. You felt something shift, as if a weight had entered the air. Your eyes slowly blinked open, and you rubbed them with a yawn while hearing papers rustle. When your vision came in, a large shadow was standing beside your desk. Two shades of blue eyes looked down at you, and you gasped happily while sitting up "Shadow Cookie!"

"Thaaat's right!" The shadow replies, leaning forwards so he could come into view. Shadow Milk had been visiting for months now, and he noted as he saw the scattered pictures across your desk that it seemed his efforts were sucessful. He grinned widely, looking over your art in his hands "Did you make this, little puppet? I see a certain rougish devil made his appearance!". You giggled, reaching up as best you could to point to it "Yeah, yeah! But papa didn't seem to like it too much...". Your frown returned, and Shadow Milk gave a huge gasp "He didn't?! Well, the nerve! He must be blinder than I thought!". Your smile returned as you looked up at your 'imaginary' friend "Papa's just worried sometimes. But s'good that you like it!"

"Like it?! Why, little puppet, I love it! I'd hang this up in my spire" Shadow Milk declared, holding the drawing close to his chest. You got down from your chair, running over to him and grabbing his legs for a tight hug. Shadow Milk chuckled, placing a hand atop your head. "That papa of yours isn't very kind, is he?" Shadow Milk commented "How strange for a Cookie of truth to lie to his own kin!". "Lie?" You asked, pulling back with a confused expression "What do you mean?". "Oh, don't worry your poor little dough over it" Shadow Milk cooed, lifting you under your arms. He floated off of the ground, carrying you up before holding you tight to his chest.

"But- papa isn't supposed to lie" you frowned. "I know, but papa's don't always do as they're supposed to" Shadow Milk responded, a fake look of sympathy on his face. He pulled you in, nuzzling his cheek to yours "I'd never lie to you, you poor thing. We're good friends, right?". As he asked that last part, his grip on you tightened a little. You gave a nod "Yeah! Bestest friends!". Shadow Milk grinned widely, sharp teeth showing as he held you up above his head while he spun mid-air "That's right! Best as can be! And best friends always tell the truth"

You giggled at the motion, pulling yourself into his arms for a tight hug. It was refreshing to have a friend you could play with at all times, a silly jester who loves making you smile. You pulled back, chuckling with him before a knock came from your door. "Little sunflower? Are you awake" Pure Vanilla's voice called. Shadow Milk quickly placed you back down "That's my cue to exit the stage". You gave a little whine, tugging on the jester's sleeve "Do you have to?". "You know the rules" Shadow Milk replied. He watched as your head titled down, a sad pout on your face. He couldn't help but grin.

"Well, I was going to wait for a special occasion, but I suppose I can give you this now" Shadow Milk said, pulling something out. He handed you a small doll fashioned to look just like him, with big button eyes and a stitched smile. You squealed, holding it close to your chest "Thank you, Shadow Cookie! You're the best!"

"Sunflower? Who are you talking to?" Pure Vanilla called. Shadow Milk scowled, replacing it with a faux look of kindness as he leaned down to speak with you "I'll be back soon, don't worry" he said, before vanishing into the shadows. You felt your smile fall as you nuzzled into the doll he'd given you. You loved your papa, but it was disappointing how your friend always had to leave when he came by. And he said such odd things... what lies could he be talking about?

The door opened, Pure Vanilla hurriedly walking in. He waved his staff about a bit, hair a mess and breathing heavily. You walked up behind him, tugging on his robes. "Papa?" You asked, and the healer turned to you. He sighed with relief, kneeling down and wrapping an arm around you "What are you doing up so late? I thought someone had found you...". "I was jus' drawing, an' I fell asleep" you explained. Pure Vanilla pulled back, kissing your forehead "Of course, how silly of me. My little artist must have been hard at work". He lifted you up, balancing you in his arms "Come now, it's time for bed"

You let out a yawn, nuzzling into his chest. Soon enough, you were tucked into bed, Pure Vanilla making sure you were snugly covered in blankets. He'd noticed a flicker of something blue being closely squeezed in your arms. He tried to reach a hand out, but you'd turned away from him before he could see. "G'night, papa" you said. Pure Vanilla pulled back, that worried expression back on his face. "...Good night, my bluebird" he said, a little quietly.

He closed the door to your room upon exiting, that troubled expression now fully showing on his face. He could feel that presence. He kept having to look over his shoulders around the shadowy corners of his castle, fear gripping him tightly. Every inch of the hollow nooks felt like they were watching him. Waiting. Laughing.

"Elder Faerie will be here tomorrow... please, please, by all that is good, don't let my fears come true" Pure Vanilla thought to himself "You can have my kingdom, my title, my souljam.. just please.. don't take my little bluebird away from me". He began walking to his room, worriedly holding the handle of his staff. Daunting eyes watched him as he walked. "Oh, Silly Vanilly..." a voice whispered eerily in the darkness "Fighting so hard to protect his little family... pathetic". Shadow Milk morphed into the darkness, beginning his usual escape route back to the outside. Black Sapphire and Candy Apple stood in the royal garden, waiting for him.

"Count this night a success, my delightful little grubs" Shadow Milk said as he materialized. Candy Apple squealed "I knew it, I knew it! You're so strong, my lord!". Black Sapphire gave a little bow "All is in motion, just as requested". Shadow Milk grinned widely, a high giggle leaving him "Perfect, perfect! I can't wait to see their faces when it happens!". "Until then," Black Sapphire began, hopping up on his staff to float off of the ground "We have time left to plan". "Pssh, as if I need a plan" Shadow Milk said, beginning to walk away from the castle "Have faith, my minions. This isn't even the half of what's to come"

When monsters rose from the surface, it seemed like the entire world caught on fire. Everyone wouldn't stop talking about it, everyone went mad. They seemed... dangerous. Eyes either empty, or filled with a dull, eerie hunger. A lust for something filling. Government officials locked them away for the first two years they arrived but after extensive surveying and rehabilitation technology, they were set free.

All monsters were now allowed in the real world, well, limited to the countries who had not banned them. Lucky you, college had finally ended. With a degree under your sleeve, you looked for a job. Weeks, and weeks went by. Nobody called back. You were getting desperate at this point.

A flyer pinned to a community board caught your attention.

"LOOKING FOR RECEPTIONIST AT THE LOCAL CLINIC, CALL THIS NUMBER IF INTERESTED!"

Seems good as any other job, and it's nearby. They called back almost immediately. What the flyer failed to inform you of,

It was a monster-run, monster speciality clinic. The day you arrived at the clinic was... unforgettable to say the least. Since monsters had been freed from their prison down below, you've never seen them, at least out of articles. Never touched one, never spoken to one. You weren't planning on it either.

"Ah, you must be the new hire! Welcome, welcome."

A giant, sheep-like? furry lady basically pulled you in. A bit harsh, but you kept your mouth shut.

"It's so lovely to meet you. My name is Toriel, and this is our clinic!" You shook her hand, giving her your name. She seemed to stare down, not at you, but into you.

It chilled you to the bone. But you couldn't find the courage to say anything.

she pushed you away, into a small desk at the front of the office.

"This is yours! Feel free to wander, maybe don't try to interact so much with our fellow monsters though... you're one of the first humans to step foot here." She chuckled, her claws long and sharp. Yellowed by who knows what. When she laughed, you got a glance at her teeth, her horrible, crooked teeth. Sweat dripped down your neck. Maybe this wasn't such a good idea.

Toriel left the room, as someone was wailing her name. You booted up the computer , and stood. Maybe looking around for a quick second wouldn't hurt? The computer seemed old anyways.

As you walked down the left hallway, you noticed rooms lined up down the hall. Most of them were open, some had doors left ajar. All of them, you could hear crying, shrieking and wailing. Various names, you couldn't recognize. You heard shrill voices asking for their moms, or Toriel. It made your pounding heart drop to your stomach.

Someone appeared behind you, silently. Once you had reached the dead end, you went to turn and go back to your small desk but was halted. Looming over you, a skeleton. With its jaw hung open, tiny pinpricks boring into your eyes. He could feel your nerves, smell the blood pumping into your heart.

The skeleton didn't even utter a word before jumping on to you, knocking you to the floor. His terrible teeth snapped to bite on your neck. You inched away, shrieking. A bellow from behind the skeleton racked the hall.

"Papyrus!" Toriel grabbed the skeleton by the neck, raising him far away from you. "Oh dear, oh dear." The furry monster, now looking concerned, flung the tall skeleton away. A group surrounded the skeleton, eager to help him or... harass him for details on being so close to the human.

Toriel picked you up, her matted fur somehow comforting you in the state of shock you were in. She plopped you on a chair in a vacant room, and left. The door clicked with the lock.

"Um, hey?! You didn't just lock me in here right?" You awkwardly shouted out. No response, only the shrieks and sobs from next door.

yes i am aware it is no longer halloween and it is now december. after this oneshot i will exclusively focus on winter themes, but i just HAD to get this idea out. It's a cold Halloween night.

You and your boyfriend decided to go to a Haunted House for the occasion after you finally managed to pester him enough.

"C'mon, c'mon! Hurry up!" You walk hurriedly along the sidewalk in your shark onesie, spotting the closest Haunted House that's covered in decorations, lights, and signs. Your boyfriend following slowly behind.

"I'm coming, jeez. I don't get why you get so excited over all this. We're grown now. This is kid stuff." He looks bored, stuffing his hands in his pockets. He didn't even dress up for the occasion, just wearing his normal fall clothes to keep warm.

"Hey, Halloween is fun for all ages." You point at him accusingly. "Besides, we can finally have some fun together tonight! You've been so busy doing your own stuff and I've missed you a lot, so this is a perfect chance to-"

"Yeah yeah..let's just get this over with. Maybe if we're lucky we can get some candy little kids dropped." He stomps on some old wrappers. Jeez..such a buzzkill. Oh well, he won't ruin your fun in here! You're sure his mood will turn around once you both get inside.

You both reach the entrance, you practically bouncing with excitement while your boyfriend seems to be distracted by some of the scare actors passing by.

You're both eventually let in after signing a slightly concerning waiver, walking inside. You admire the decorations and care put into the environments, occasionally having little jumps when animatronics pop out at you which just results in laughter afterwards. Your boyfriend on the other hand looks like he'd rather be anywhere but here, rolling his eyes at some of the scares and pulling out his phone at one point.

Truth be told, the last few months haven't been..ideal with him. You've hardly had any time together and when you finally do he just ignores you or seems like he doesn't want to be there. You've started to wonder if he even really wants to be your partner anymore..

You shake your head. Now is not the right place to be thinking about that. You should be having fun!

You greet some of the scare actors, having more fun than fear. You assume this is what happens to most people with Bravery souls. There's a large variety of them, some monsters, some humans. All of them doing a very good job!

You both make your way through an escape room section, you doing most of the work. You finally find the key, unlocking the door.

"Here we gooo, next room, woo!" "Yaaay."

The next room you enter is filled with props like mannequins and hanging objects that are meant to look like ghosts.

You cling to your boyfriend's arm, feeling unsettled as you both progress. He actually seems to tense up this time as well, looking around. It's quiet in the room..you feel a chill go down your spine.

You make your way down a small hallway that leads into the next area, jolting when a tall monster jumps out at you both with a fake hatchet. You jump back, your boyfriend screams, pushes you aside and..runs off. Without you.

You stare in the direction he ran off in, eyes wide in disbelief.

"ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?" You put your hands on your head, feeling tears start to prick at the corners of your eyes.

He just..left you.

He ran off without you in a scary unfamiliar location.

He abandoned you.

You try to hold back your tears when a bony hand rests on your shoulder. You look up to see the scare actor lifting up his mask, revealing eyelights with one empty and the other having a bright red circle in it, focusing on you.

"...don't waste your tears over that guy. 's okay." His voice is deep, a comforting sound to hear in a way. It's oddly soft despite his sharp appearance. You try not to look at that large cracked hole in his head. He probably appreciates that.

He raises up the other hand, wiping your tears away.

"I am so breaking up with him." "yikes. that guy's your boyfriend? some partner, leaving your datemate in an unfamiliar place alone." "Not anymore. I'm dumping him." "good call." "..Could you maybe..show me where the exit is? I don't really have the drive to go through here all by myself." You hold your arm shyly.

"i'll do you one better." He holds out his prop hatchet, handing it to you.

You look at it then at him, raising a brow.

"let's go scare the shit out of him."

You grin wide, taking the hatchet from him as he goes to pull his mask back down.

The two of you run out of the room and the moment you spot him you start SPRINTING, the skeleton following close behind.

The moment he finds the exit the two of you burst out laughing, taking a few seconds to compose yourselves.

"So..I'm gonna be removing his number from my phone..any chance I could have yours, stranger?" You point finger guns at him.

He seems surprised for a moment, before simply lifting his mask back up and smiling.

"just call me sans. nice to meet'cha." He gives you his number and you make sure to save it. "You too, Sans. Would you like to..I dunno, go get coffee or something? I'd like to get to know you." "i wouldn't mind. how does tomorrow sound?" "Great."

The two of you smile at each other before Sans' boss tells him to get back to work, and you wave goodbye before sending a text to your boyfriend to tell him you want to talk.
