hey don't cry. 7,401 species of frog in the world, ok?
Well I'm planning to get a college far enough
And moving out early
A: "i cant enjoy for two days in a row"
B: "why?"
A: "my parents will scold me"
this is an actual conversation.
The sheer lack of emotion sent through the second message haunts me. They've gotten used to it.
Parents are supposed to care for their children and provide them with a nice life that allows them to progress forward in society. But here they are, my friend's parents, scolding my friend for enjoying for two days in a row. I wonder what sort of emotions my friend is having. Revenge towards their parents? I would hope so. Considering everything they must have gone through, it is natural for revenge and/or vengeance to bubble up. They've already accepted this is how it's going to be, at least for a few years.
I really do hope they get an escape from all this and get time to actually live life.
i like marvel in a very specific "sam wilson and his friendship/rivarly/third more evil thing with bucky barnes, spiderman, anyone can wear the mask, found family and tragic siblings, peggy carter and her show because it was amazing, guardians of the galaxy being goofy and constantly annoyed with eachother, carol danvers being badass, venom and eddie being disgustingly codependent, deadpool being queer and obnoxious in the best way possible and loki being a little shit" way
It isn't really about the amount of fun we are having it's more about the lack of studies

Some male Humboldt Penguins are exclusively homosexual, remaining with their male partners for their entire lives, or else re-pairing with another male should they lose their original partner. Other males are sequentially bisexual, pairing with a male after having lost one or more previous female mates. Still other males are simultaneously bisexual, engaging in both same-sex and opposite-sex courtship and copulation.

when i came out as trans i had an old friend from my church days message me to congratulate me and ask me for my name and pronouns. and i was shocked tbh cause he was such a head-deep-up-the-church’s ass kind of guy so i was super wary.
and after digging a little deeper i found out that he was very supportive of transness, saying that trans men are men and trans women are women
BUT
he also believed in the church’s gender roles meaning that trans women had to marry men and be submissive wives and trans men had to marry women and be strong christian husbands.
which is like ????
the weirdest and most surreal form of trans inclusive misogyny i’ve ever seen.
