I genuinely have yet to see a literal ao3 comment where someone ACTUALLY questions why the author didn't specify the reader's gender god give me strength

Like I understand if that person is younger and doesn't realize that they should just make an oc or specify the reader more, but if ya'll are actively refusing to say anything then what in the fuck happened to "fanfiction is for everyone"? Like actually call them out if the author is doing this shit whether it's on purpose or on accident because this just can't keep going on and ik ya'll know that a lot of people are sick of it. I'm sorry if this is coming off strongly but I have been seeing absolutely fucking NOTHING but this same exact shit, every. single. Sarah's son Amir was born with a condition which makes it difficult for him to move. In order to treat this, he used to receive regular physical therapy, a special diet of ground food, and special medicine; however, since last October, he has been unable to access these necessities of his life.

This has caused his condition to deteriorate. Along with these horrors, he and his family suffers like every other Palestinian in Ghazza; in a dirty tent without basic human resources.

In order for Amir and his family to evacuate and for him to continue his treatment, they need to raise €35,000. Since my last post about this campaign, they've only managed to raise €1,961; an obvious improvement from their previous number of 0, but still not nearly enough.

Amir needs this treatment to live. Please donate if you can and share this campaign so he and his family can survive.

Can we have people fucking stop throwing eggs at the concept of transformers prime NOT being a kids show? Like we get it it's your childhood and it was mine too, but don't go throwing out backhanded "opinions" because you think the show was "perfect", no it was not and you fucking know it. There comes a day at the start of each summer when I must put my baseball cap on sideways and go out back to my air conditioner. I gingerly stroke the rusty metal coils over its freon heart and say, "Sup, home skillet? Wake up, it's 1995!"

And the air conditioner says, "Oh snap, for real? I thought it was much later. I feel so old."

In a goofy voice I say, "Yeah, it's like 2024 or something... not!"

It laughs nervously. It says, "As if!"

I tell it, "Take a chill pill, it's really 1995."

"Then I'm only 5 years old? Wack."

I nod. "Yeah, duderoni. Go ahead and start up for me one more time. It's gonna be a scorcher."

It shudders. Something rattles deep inside it. Slowly, the fan starts to spin. Faster, faster, it whirls. The air conditioner laughs in relief. "I feel young!" it says. "I feel so young!"
