I needed to talk about Only Murders in the Building with someone, so I attempted to explain it to my sister.
She assumed that Oliver and Teddy were exes, and I think that speaks volumes.

No thoughts.. just old man Logan..
Started watching Mufasa: The Lion King, and I’ve only gotten through like a quarter of it. Going to make my way through watching the rest this weekend.
But I’m just gonna say it.
This version of Timon is just… not Timon. Like, at all. I see literally no resemblance in personality or demeanor or attitude or ANYTHING. His lines just sound like some generic, millennial twitter user. He’s got literally NONE of the heart behind the snark that Nathan Lane’s Timon brought to the table.
And you know what? Nathan Lane’s Timon is actually ENDEARING. You get the feeling that the little guy has been THROUGH IT. And you can feel how hard he loves.
Billy Eichner’s Timon just feels like he made “being mean” and “being loud” his entire personality. And oh god, y’all should have heard me grumbling when they had Timon whisper in Pumbaa’s ear that he “doesn’t like children.” FUCK ALL THE WAY OFF.
Maybe I’ll make a real post about this later when I’ve finished the movie and I’m not so pissed off.
Gonna go touch some grass now AHAAAAA 🥲
I honestly don't think that, as a fandom, we appreciate Wade and Logan enough.
Yes, we love Deadpool and Wolverine, but what about Wade and Logan?
The people behind the masks? The people who have to go home and wash the blood of their hands, only to wake up and need to do it all again? The people who suffered through the torture and pain of becoming the killing machines they were made to be? The people who desperately want to live a normal life but will never be allowed to? The people who get stared at and ridiculed because of how they are? The people who have to deal with the pains of regenerating?
Sure, in the mask, Deadpool is a witty, confident, highly skilled killing machine, and in the suit, Logan is an anger filled, blood curdling, killer, but what about when they aren't in the suits? When they get home and hang up the masks?
Wade is an insecure mess who hides his pain behind bad jokes and fake smiles, Logan is a PTSD riddled man who has seen too much for anyone person to handle that drowns his sorrows in beer and whiskey.
And I know people write about that, but I feel like alot of people don't really understand that Wade and Deadpool, Logan and Wolverine- they are different.
