I'll probably change Draco's design. I think he's (she's) a very difficult character to draw in general.

Oh I SO want a fic for this. I think it could work if Harry figures out a little earlier that Draco is the true Master of the Elder Wand and then Voldemort reads his mind so he figures it out too and Harry senses him figuring it out and is like 'oh no draco's going to die that's a horrible terrible thing that can never happen...just because then voldemort would get the elder wand and also for general humanitarian reasons obviously not because i like him or anything.'

So the whole escape sequence goes down pretty much the same way except Harry grabs Draco and takes him with them - as their prisoner (he is a Death Eater after all and can't be trusted). They drop the other rescued people off at Shell Cottage but don't take Draco there since he's not to be trusted. And now they've got a MASSIVE problem. Because what do they DO with him? Harry's still operating under the assumption he would need to kill Draco to get mastery of the Elder Wand and just taking him prisoner isn't enough, plus Voldemort definitely believes that so they can't just leave him! (Ron rolls his eyes in disgust). Meanwhile, Draco has no idea why they've taken him prisoner but once it becomes clear they aren't immediately killing him he's desperate for them to let him go so Voldemort doesn't think he has defected and murder his family as punishment. Also, he's deeply relieved to see Harry and co alive and well though he'd NEVER admit it.

They try keeping him under control in various ways, including the Imperius Curse but Harry absolutely hates doing it. Gradually a grudging truce is reached. They even get some useful information out of Draco about Bellatrix and her vault and what might be in there...and the latest security measures in place under Voldemort's rule. And what do you know? One thing leads to another and somehow they're breaking into Gringotts together and stealing a dragon. And somehow when Draco gets the chance to turn on them later he doesn't. He even gets to destroy a Horcrux in the Room of Hidden Things.

By that point Harry's ready to give Draco's wand back but decides against it since he really does need it seeing as his got lost and it does feel strangely friendly in his hand - increasingly so, in fact. And hey wait a minute. Maybe defeating someone in battle ISN'T the only way you can win control of a wand. Could this be crazy enough to work? And tldr Harry still defeats Voldemort with the powers of true love and drarry except this time he's more aware of it.

i love making spreadsheets. the only problem with making spreadsheets is that i don't have enough things to turn into spreadsheets. the spreadsheet market is in shambles. but i can't just ask people if i'm allowed to make them spreadsheets, because if you go up to someone and go can i make you a spreadsheet they go literally why would you do that. but Sometimes you can social engineer your way into making a spreadsheet for someone and that's the most beautiful feeling in the world.

idk much about the watcher lore but i like it when it turns grian purple

also here are some things about their designs i’d like to mention!

cleo - i don’t see much fanart of her contorting her body like a zombie!!! so here we are

bdubs - i was watching empires s2 when the hermits visited, and subconsciously drew him in the mc skin he had on at the time 😭

impulse - i remember watching a clip of someone saying that artists drew him as an “imp” because of his username so i ran with that!!

skizz - i dont come across much fanart of him and only had his mc skin (and vibes) as reference 🥲 i hope i drew him the way he sounds like though🤞

grian - i drew him before but i wanted to draw him with his beady eyes and his glasses this time!

watcher grian - tried going for a seraphim angel vibe (and added the lighting based from that arcane s2 scene of jayce getting possessed by viktor?? idk)

anyways i can’t promise if i’ll draw the rest of the members but…….here’s part 1!

III. Coffee

<- previous day

One unlucky day, Draco overslept. He walked into the kitchen for a late breakfast but Potter’s already there, a loud muggle machine making aggravating noises. He stood against the counter with a faraway gaze, his hair ostensibly sleep tussled, an oversized shirt draped over his frame, and bare feet on the linoleum floor. Whether he’d just gotten out of bed or was trying out a new look was unclear. It’s always hard to tell with Potter.

As Draco entered the room, his sleep-addled mind couldn't help but blurt out, “What on Earth is that?”

Potter snapped his gaze towards Draco, coming back from wherever his mind had went. “The coffee machine?” he asked confusedly.

“I refuse to believe that thing brews coffee.”

Potter didn’t respond and proceeded to press a button, and coffee spilled from the machine’s mouth into Potter’s ugly sienna colored mug. He handed the mug to Draco, who hesitantly took a sip.

It tasted entirely mediocre and incredibly bland, perfect to Potter’s taste. “I’ve had better,” he spoke truthfully and handed back the mug. Potter shrugged and went on to add—certainly an unhealthy—high amount of sugar to it. Still with the same mug, he brought it to his lips, inches away from where Draco’s had been, and sipped the coffee.

Draco’s breath momentarily hitched so he turned around and asked Kreacher to bring breakfast to his room.
