Hot take (apparently) is you don't need the ship to be canon to enjoy them. I never want any of my ship to be canon, they'll butcher my beloved into grave. Shipping is a fandom thing to do, canon never matters.

unless they specifically asked, you don’t get to tell a fanfic writer you think they mischaracterized the character by the way. because the second someone writes a fanfic about a character, that character becomes the writer’s own version of the character. canon is only a suggestion, but whether or not an author will follow it / how much of canon an author will take is entirely up to them. you don’t get to stick your nose in their world and tell them “hey this is not to my liking therefore I think you’re doing it wrong” when you can simply leave quietly and move on to something else you may enjoy

Proto Earth and Proto Ceres!!!

Little facts about them:

-They were best friends in the past! Most of the old rockies wouldn't really approach Proto-Earth, due to a long rivalry he had with Theia (Nobody really wanted to pick sides, but Theia was Mars' and Venus' best friend, and everyone liked Proto Venus and Mars)

-Proto was very protective of Ceres, an older brother kind of vibe;

-Ceres did not like Theia, nor did Theia like Ceres. Mutually assured dislike.

-Not referenced in this drawing, but Ceres, Pallas and Vesta liked to pick asteroids and make little acessories for Proto to use. Proto loved those... Most got destroyed, though. Not all by the collision.

(The Earth still has one of those that he found around in his orbit, he keeps it guarded in a locked in a locket. He doesn't know why, but it seems special, somehow.)

-The first two to ever play asteroid dodgeball.

okay like we’ve seen when keith gets really emotional his galra features come out right. now hmo. what if that happened during like one of his first ever physical altercations like someone said something mean and keith being Keith having just lost his dad and dealing with that grief then being insulted he takes it PERSONAL. too personal. they probably said something about his hair and he just BOOOM. lashes out, fists flying - the other kid is TERRIFIED bc he was teasing him as per usual - the emo guy is throwing punch after punch, his eyes are yellow and his teeth are baring and he’s slightly purple - ish

the kid he beat on told EVERYONE after that and like nobody believed him so now he just has to live with that for the rest of his life
