I always figured Yelp would be the competitive one, but looking at Maya’s promo, it seems that Bloop is the ass kicker of the relationship.

Okay so I don’t have enough brain cells or expertise to fully get into this, but like…. the spop commentary on indigenous people VS colonizers + commentary on environmental protection was really cool
There was SO much Christian missionary rhetoric from Horde Prime and his super violent, mindlessly devoted, all male disciples– using phrases like “eternal light,” “made in his image,” “I know all….. I see all…..” etc. The brothers never questioned HP (except for Wrong Hordak ofc) and allowed him to use their bodies for surveillance purposes. The worlds HP destroyed were “primitive” in his eyes and he stole their treasures so that he could put them on display as trophies. His goal was to expand his empire and conquer as many cultures as he could by using brainwashing techniques, infecting their ecosystems, and snuffing out any sort of rebellion/heresy
The native people of Etheria had magic/witchcraft and showed a great appreciation for all living creatures. There was a loving relationship between the people and their environment, which literally kept them safe and strong. And the whole time, the Etherians were shown to be the heroes who were doing the right thing!!! HP was never “ambiguously” evil or given any sort of backstory to make the audience feel empathy for him. Nothing was morally grey about HP or his disgusting imperialism and environmental poisoning
