Admin: Yes yes yes yes. I love the idea of Laito’s fashion because I think it would be very androgynous. In canon he doesn’t mind wearing a dress and actually picked it out for himself (and ones Kanato and Ayato!). I’m pretty plain with fashion.. so apologies in advance (,:

❖ His clothing would be loose, but will still retain that ‘flat’ look. He wouldn’t wear anything that hides his body shape too much. He likes being alluring with his presentation.

❖ Laito is rather reserved with the amount of skin he shows with his clothing on a regular basis. He loves pants which reveal his ankles and shirts that can be rolled up his wrists.

❖ He’ll often later his clothing quite a bit! He likes wearing button ups and sweaters, and scarfs on cold days.

❖ He’ll often dress in usually mismatch colors, and somehow pulls it all together really well.

❖ Laito’s skin tone has cooler undertones and often he matches that with blues or greens— As seen in ep 8 when he’s wearing that really nice long coat.

❖ He’s usually lacking in accessories like rings and necklaces, but on special circumstances he’ll put some on. He likes loose bracelets that float on his arm a bit. He’ll fix his bracelets by putting his hand up toward his face to get them to fall back down. It adds to his posing.

❖ He often struggles finding pants that fit him well because of his slender waist and larger hips. He’ll wear a belt to keep his pants on where he wants them most of the time.

We rarely see laito and kanato hanging out together so I was wondering if they have certain activities they like doing together (like the girls going shopping 🛒🛍️✨✨✨). Do you think Laito ever reaches out to kanato to do something together or talk about anything or vice versa ?

❖ Laito and Kanato are able to hang out in a different way. Both of them are on the feminine side and enjoy things like fashion and ‘pretty things.’

❖ When Laito is with Ayato, he presents himself differently. Laito knows how to present himself in a way that pleases the person he’s with. This doesn’t just apply to a partner, but family too.

❖ With Kanato Laito is more alluring and shows himself in a different way. Laito and Kanato match one another’s personas perfectly. They play up on one another’s comments and gestures when going for a girl.

❖ Kanato and Laito would sort out their clothing together. You know spring cleaning? Yeah, they’d do that together but with their clothing all while roasting one another’s fashion sense. They’re a lot different with fashion tastes.

❖ Kanato and Laito going out to the sweets stores together !! Laito is a big fan of sweets to, but not as much as Kanato. Laito enjoys seeing Kanato enjoy himself and actually smiling, so he’ll invite him to sweets shops he’s heard about (in the human and demon world). Honestly Laito’s begun to keep an eye out for sweets news just to take Kanato or bring him home sweets.

❖ Because Laito has invited Kanato to sweets stores so much, Kanato now expects Laito to tag along when he goes. Yes, Kanato guilt trips Laito into carrying most of the bags (besides Kanato’s prized sweets).

❖ They 100% have a ‘look’ that one another can read. Both can be bitchy mean girls, so it’s easier for them to pick up on one another’s ‘bitch faces.’ Same brain wavelength.

❖ They’d both somehow wind up in a makeup store and have the store people do their makeup. They love the compliments.

❖ Once he pins you down he moves in ever so carefully as to not ruin the delicate position he has put you in. His hands slip over your bare skin as he decides where would be the best to bite.

❖ After finding the place with the best blood flow, he licks his lips and leans in. His pink tongue glides over the area as if he’s disinfecting it for the penetration. ❖ The gulping sounds reach his ears just as much as they do yours. To him they’re further motivation to continue drinking. The more he sucked on that plush skin the louder the gulps became.

Which DL character do YOU think is the most corrupted and wicked one?

//Honestly,my bet is Laito.He is indeed an interesting character,but he’s also such a sad one at the same time.While other Diaboys healed from the events of the past thanks to Yui, Laito is still suffering deep down.

His HDB route made me feel tremendously uncomfortable and honestly no other route in 7 games can beat that one in terms of despair. I felt like in a horror game,since the way he treated Yui was mercilessly from all points of view.His roasts were actually really smart but painful,since he knows where to hit his victims so as to hurt them.The amount of abuse Yui has been put trough is heartbreaking and the fact that such a cheerful and positive person as Yui wanted to take her own life plenty of times because of him,makes it clear how horribly she was treated.

Laito is probably the best manipulator out of all Diaboys. Man’s literally really scary,he’s a great stalker and cruel as heck!On top of that,as far as I recall,even Carla was surprised to see how sly and intelligent Laito is.

I love Laito,he’s my third favorite Diaboy but stealing his heart is almost an impossible mission :”)

hello admin I hope this is not a repeated question and I would be grateful if you could give your opinion on this matter. Who do you think is the smartest boy in DL? Of course, not with regard to academic success, because I don't consider it as a criterion for being smart. Rather, according to the behaviors that these boys have shown so far, in your opinion, which of the 13 boys is the most intelligent?

And nobody can change my mind because this man is literally scaringly smart and will forever be the most intelligent DL character in my eyes. I will talk about him soon, I just want to get some things straight here.

Grades don’t equal intelligence, therefore I would never judge it solely on someone’s academic success. It’s not that hard getting a good score if you pay attention during class or simply study, so it’s more about effort. I’m speaking from my own experience because I’m one of my university’s top students yet there are classmates who are undoubtedly smarter than me or than the teachers themselves.

To be honest, in my opinion, the "big brain" DL boys aren't nearly as intelligent as they’re described. Sure, they're knowledgeable, but I wouldn't call them geniuses. Writers will make a character appear intelligent by having everyone else act stupid or oblivious. For example, in LE and CL, it took them 1000 years to realize that Kino, the new, mysterious guy they know nothing about, was the one causing them problems, and they were surprised despite the fact that it was obvious. I should also point out that their plans and strategies aren't particularly good; it's just that the writers will make them appear to be successful. If they gave the same plan to a seemingly stupid Diaboy, they would make him fail and face consequences.

Furthermore, it irritates me that they are constantly attempting to humiliate Yui with things they are proficient in. They test her with cubes, puzzles, musical instruments, and books in foreign languages she doesn't speak, such as Latin and German. They are aware Yui isn't the brightest, and they can clearly see she lacks knowledge and any talents, so I'm not sure how you, a "genius," would find satisfaction in seeing a seemingly stupid character fail at things stereotypically smart people excel at. Why not, for example, challenge someone of your league? Or are you afraid of failing that way, and you only get that spark from someone weaker than you?

Okay, enough of that, let's get back to Laito. Laito's brain power outperforms everyone else's and he’s not just book smart but he's also extremely street smart.

He's very perceptive and has the best ability to read others. While the big brain boys rely on simple and sometimes obvious deductions, Laito memorizes information about you and will later know how to use it against you to cause you pain. He's a master of gaslighting and convincing; he manipulated Yui into saying and doing things she would never have done otherwise, and he's impossible to trick. Every time Yui tried to be bold in front of him, saying things like "perhaps you’re the one who likes the pain" or "you’re the masochist”, Laito twisted her words so as to make her feel like a bad person, which she believed.

I understand that being manipulative does not always imply being clever, because any human being can manipulate, but Laito is not your average manipulator. To manipulate someone, you must be able to hold a large amount of information in your mind at the same time. A larger brain capacity is required to be a skilled manipulator because you are creating several different scenarios and outcomes prior to and during a conversation with the person you are attempting to manipulate. Laito has a high level of metacognition, which most people do not have, and his brain is quick, creative, adaptable, and can unquestionably be called intelligent.

You can also notice that he says some really meaningful things that Yui and his two brothers can’t understand. His poetic way of speaking isn’t a reason to mislead others or make them feel stupid, but rather he’s merely expressing his thoughts that way. I love those moments when he’s unpredictable and pulls a spontaneous psychological mind game, because I know this man would be able to twist everyone around his little finger if he wanted to, even the big brain boys (no wonder even Carla acknowledged him as intelligent).

However, one of Laito’s flaws is that he got poor emotional control and his trauma makes him perceive some things differently. He’s still dangerously intelligent and the fact his intelligence is so underrated feels unbelievable.

Ayato and Laito are the real Sun and Moon. Those are facts 💯

Despite the fact that they seem to hang out the most, I really like how different they are. They both have really distinct life perspectives.

According to Laito, Ayato is a very pure-hearted person who puts a strong emphasis on helping and forgiving others, especially if they are members of his family (Cordelia, Laito, Kino and so on). Karlheinz is the only one he can't forgive because he hurt people he cared about. Then there's Laito, who, despite his cheerful and perverted façade, can be brutal and cold-hearted to anyone. He does, however, have a caring and vulnerable side that he shows only when he truly trusts someone deeply.

Basically, Laito has the misunderstood villain vibe and Ayato has the happy-go-lucky hero one, which makes so much sense?? People are free to say whatever they want about Laito. Yes, he's a manipulator, a gaslighting king, and scary, but no one can deny that he's the best written character in Diabolik Lovers.

Since I see way too many people making fun of him, do you think Kanato passes as the “ugly” brother of the Sakamaki household because he doesn’t look alike to Ayato and Laito? To me he’s really beautiful and I know he is a jerk too but I get bored of seeing people slandering his looks when I bet he’s more unique looking than them.

// I'm not a Kanato stan, but he's definitely not ugly, especially considering his design is one of the few that actually gives off vampire vibes. Yes, he's small, but he looks very aesthetically pleasing. Everyone has different opinions, yet Kanato is canonically good-looking, so I would never slander the appearance of a character who is supposed to be pretty.

As for him not looking like Ayato and Laito… let’s be honest, if they weren’t confirmed brothers, I doubt anyone would have even thought they looked alike, haha. Their features are just so different, and people should realize that each triplet represents a different type of beauty: Kanato is a cute boy, Ayato is a beautiful boy and Laito is a handsome boy.

Additionally, I wouldn’t say Ayato and Laito look similar but rather that Ayato is a combination between Kanato’s and Laito’s features. xD

The problem is that the dl fandom constantly ships those toxic creepy three hundred year old men with 17 year old yui, and lets be real here most of the fandom consists of teen and preteen girls

Bro theyre not tOxiC or creepy, theyre immortal vampires who dont age and demons who like blood, preferably younger blood from human girls, their food source. Why am I even explaining that. Of course they're not nice humans. If you don't like dark fantasy and vampires just leave the fandom then. I like them since im 15 years old lol. So the MC is 17, okay so? I love the story, the dark themes and the great writing and character developments. The Diaboys are amazing tbh, absolute favourite vampires.

Also, that is literally the story in this otome game?? Its just weird to me when meeting a 12 year old fan, since its more mature content.
