It's very clear when reading fanfiction about vi and jinx which one is the author's favorite character. I love fix it fics but so many people treat Vi like she's pure evil and has to beg for jinx's forgiveness, like they both haven't been hurting each other. Like vi hasn't also been traumatized and needs grace.

I get being upset about Vi going along with Caitlyn and her bullshit but it's the same thing as Powder running to silco.

Vi was in prison as a child for 7 years. Everything has changed, she has no family and the only thing that has been constant in this "new world" is caitlyn.

Of course, when Jinx leaves her tied up after that twisted tea party, she's going to go with caitlyn. That's the only person she has left, so she's clinging to her.

She begged her not to change because everything and everyone around her has changed. She wants something normalish and at that point it was caitlyn.

She hasn’t dealt with any of her trauma and is just trying to hold it together and do what she thinks is right but no. Everyone wanna act like Vi was some terrible sister when all of season 1 all vi did was deny anyone who said her sister was gone.

It feels so wrong reading these fics when they continue to berate and abuse vi like she deserves it.

God god god there are NO bad, harmful, illegal(💀) ships. From stuff like meljay or jayvik to jisha or vijinx, they're all ok because those people don't fucking exist. Lift your eyes from the screen. Look out the window. See, you're okay. Those people aren't REAL, they weren't HURT because they don't exist. Do you treat the writers as genuine child murderers because mylo and claggor are dead?? NO because they DON'T EXIST. As long as you acknowledge that there are things that are unacceptable irl, do whatever the hell you want in fiction😭 also the block button exists

yeah idk man maybe i just don't like it when characters whose whole story is about choosing to live and overcoming suicidal ideation end up dying in a hero sacrifice. kinda leaves a bad taste in my mouth, not gonna lie.
