Shift your mind, shift your reality.
Disciplining your mind is one of the most important parts of shifting. It’s easy to get caught up in doubt, overthinking, or frustration, but at the end of the day, your mindset is what shapes your reality. If you constantly tell yourself shifting is hard, your mind will make it hard. If you let intrusive thoughts take over, your subconscious will listen.
Shifting isn’t just about wanting it, it’s about training your mind to believe, to focus, and to let go of resistance. That means staying consistent, redirecting negativity, and trusting the process even when you don’t see immediate results. The more you strengthen your mindset, the closer you get to your desired reality.

I'm surprised that with all the shifting advice and posts preparing people for life in a certain dr, no one's ever (to my knowledge) made a post on shifting as another gender/sex. Like I feel it'd be fairly easy to write about? I mean it's not like it's fantastical aliens or vampires, it's just a different body. Why hasn't anyone done a post like "what to expect if you're shifting as amab/afab"?

ꨄ˚。⋆୨୧⋆ ˚。⋆ Hey you, yes you! Stop obsessing over symptoms, and angel numbers, and any other "sign" from the universe. You don't need any of that to tell you what you are; you don't need that validation. You are more than capable of making your dream life happen, YOU. Not a number, not a twitch, not a random picture that popped up on your Pinterest feed. YOU.
You are not desperate, you're not sad and needy looking for someone or something to tell you what you need to hear. You are not desperate, you have infinite power.
Stop relying on validation from external sources you don't need them. Newflash, numbers don't shift your reality, symptoms don't shift your reality. But you know what does? YOU do!
You are the universe, you are powerful, you are GOD, you are everything but someone who can't even assume the life that they want. Do you realize how easy we have it? Anything you could possibly want is yours, if you decide that it is.
And another thing stop stop STOP relying on "symptoms." I hate the fact that the term even came about in the shifting community. The twitching, itching, whatever it may be that you feel is just your body being relaxed/falling asleep. Those are NOT indicators that you are shifting. Why on Earth would you let something/someone else hold YOUR power in their hands? What is it? Are you afraid? Do you not believe that it can be THIS easy for you? Well, it is. Acknowledge that, accept that, assume that, and be that.
Never forget who you are and what you're capable of.
There doesn't have to be any pressure on shifting, you don’t have to do it at a specific moment. My routine takes either a moment, a day, or a week. I do specific things in preparation to shift, it isn’t a method, more so a ritual, something to help me align myself with where I want to be.
I. Bask in who you want to be, spend mornings doing this practice, do it before a nap, before you go to bed, while you eat, etc. Settle in your mind, take this time to be in your desired selfs mind. Think about slow moments, your morning routine, the view outside your window, basking in the sun, anything of the sort; let yourself live in moments from your dr. I've noticed I shift more when I have practiced this throughout the day.
II. Tell yourself that you are there, that you are indeed experiencing these things. Affirm how many times you feel, you are where you are. Don’t put any pressure on yourself to believe anything, just affirm. Sweep away intrusive thoughts, let them pass and focus on who and where you are.
III. Each reality has its own soul, familiarize yourself with how your chosen reality feels. Whenever you want to go there invoke this feeling, remember the slow moments, relax and live in your dr.
IV. I lie in bed and when I'm getting sleepy I visualize myself where I want to be and I’m there, I focus on what I am doing at that moment in that reality.
V. After I come back I take a couple days to step away from shifting, I don’t think about going anywhere else. I try to live in this reality and when I feel I want to leave again, I begin at step one.
not trying to be mean (disclaimer, i'm nice, i swear) but if you're always saying you haven’t shifted, asking for help, getting told the simplest answer ("just know you’ve shifted, that’s literally it. confidence + assumption = success"), rejecting that, then saying you haven’t shifted again… and then doing it all over…....what are we doing here. what are we cooking. at some point, it’s not about shifting anymore, it’s about you fighting your own brain in a parking lot.
if you keep reaffirming that you haven’t shifted, your mind is just following that script

one of my main shifting motivations at the moment is reading, books, literature, writing all of it. I used to be an avid reader back in my day, but unfortunately the rise of social media has killed my attention span. the last book I read (still currently reading even though I haven't picked it up in months) is Interview With Vampire. I miss the feeling of sitting down with a good book and reading it so fast that a few hours seem just like one.
although I could better my attention span here, pick up a book (finish IWTV) and start my reading journey all over again. something about shifting to a place where the smell of books consume my spirit, something about shifting to a place where books reach the ceiling, something about shifting to a place where I can enjoy my cafe au lait with a book in hand while listening to the birds nearby.
That is what I want, I want my mind to be completely and utterly overwhelmed by the amount of words invading my brain, I want my vocabulary, my writing to improve.
