The Halfbreed Who Gained What He Lost

Charismatic, Charming, and Surprisingly arrogant in a naïve way.

Nash's story starts off as a child who was seemingly human at first, but his adoptive mother, Nadalia, took notice that he was a halfbreed, crossed between Hjaellin and Levande blood, as he grew he was taught certain trades, golem repair, leatherworking, and cobbling, but he was never taught to fight due to the peaceful lifestyle Levende are accustomed to.

This would unfortunately lead to the loss of his village. at the age of 15 he experiences his first raid, and through the carnage he was stowed away by Nadalia in a wine cellar. when the raid was over, the village was nothing but rubble, like a tornado had taken the village. The only remnants of his village was his blanket and two golems he was able to repair. one day after Nash fell to heat exhaustion and his golem friends could do nothing to help, soon guardsmen on horseback find the boy in the sand, being protected by the golems. They would tend to the boy, bring him in and make him a fresh guardsman.

Learning the art of dueling blades and horseback combat, he would show himself to be a proper trained fighter. he's now 18 (this is where abigore meets Nash btw) Nash was posted at a village with seemingly no status at the time, hardly any illagers nor husks try to attack due to it's small size, it was known as Fermin, but when Nash had his second day as guardman for the village, illagers stormed the small village, one illager with a horned helm fought valiantly, but slopy, causing his defeat in the end, he retreats with only a half of his men, and after that, Nash slowly making fermona his home, using his training from the guardsmen to protect his family, and his adoptive fathers, Doris the armorer and Phospherous the mason slowly over time the population of Fermin started to grow exponentially, and more guardsmen were posted at the now new city, Fermona, the emerald apple, where illager, villager, and human kind, live peacefully.

The Change For The Better

Nash, now in his 20s was slowly becoming the head hero of the village (a simple title just given to him by the home he protects), and when Phospherous and Dorris heard of this, they wanted to make something special for him, gauntlets what were embued the power to control the stone beneath his feet, they knew that Nash had a connection to the earth element due to his spirit and kind nature.

Nash used these gauntlets to materialize stone swords whenever he needed them, it was even better then the iron swords he kept as gifts from the guardsmen.

On the day that Fermona felt the most safe, a mysterious stranger known as The Cloak summoned the undead in the middle of the town square, causing a riot, Nash defeated the cloak, had them arrested, never to be seen again. but this made Nash feel unsafe, knowing there were users of magic that would wish to cause harm, he felt like he had to get stronger.

His fathers helped removed the stones from his gauntlets and forged them into a staff and so he heads off to the color country, stavustrand, and on the coast of the continent was a city known as Oaksend, it was the home of the most prestigious magic school the the west side of the world he stayed there for 15 years, learning geomancy and the magic's before it, turning him now into a geomancer. by @atenman

unfortunately Nash would have grave news come to him, in a form of an encrypted note with coordinates, it was from Abigore Melbourne, and he was seeking revenge more then ever. when he arrived he was kidnapped by Abigore and brutally battered by the barbarians. before Abigore prepperd to lay the final blow, ragna and the royal guard save the geomancer, sinking the illager general. Shortly after the whole ordeal, they would take the time to grow a happy family With Ragna bringing a boy and a girl into the world, Gloria and Maurice Dunes, they along with ragna are the reason why Nash fights for a free world.

Mandrake x Reader

I’ve been thinking about this recently but Mandrake has an absurd amount of patience. Not only does he have to rule over a chaotic colony of boggans who more or less do what they want most the time, but he also plays the long con with the leafmen and seems like a genius strategist, planning for every little kink in his plans far ahead of time.

So it stands to reason that he isn’t a man who gets jealous easily. He already puts all his trust in you and isn’t worried about you leaving him for someone else. He wouldn’t be with you if he felt otherwise.

But, but but but, that being said—

—he is possessive.

Not overbearingly so, he respects your boundaries, but this man knows what is his and isn’t going to let anyone even try and think that they have a chance to claim otherwise. It’s just fact, you are his, just like how he is yours.

Your relationship is built on mutual claim and respect of each other, and that doesn’t change.

Don’t ever tell him about the “I licked it so its mine” joke, because you will not be getting away from that one. He’s already enough of a pain in the ass as is.

Anyways, he doesn’t get jealous easily, but he is not above looming over wannabe suitors if they get too comfortable talking to you.

Anybody who dares to flirt with you has a death wish anyways, seeing as you are, presumedly, the co-ruler of the boggans and are equally as feared. Most Jinn don’t know what you actually look like and wouldn’t be able to know who you are unless explicitly told. But who would want to try and flirt with Mandrake’s partner?

If you keep your identity a secret, maybe because you used to be on good terms with the leafmen or just like hiding your face, then that’s more of an excuse for some poor schmuck to try their hand at flattering you.

If Mandrake does see someone getting too close for his liking, he will come over to you and put an arm around your waist, or his hand on your shoulder.

If he’s feeling extra, he will wrap you up in cloak and put his head on-top of yours. Sometimes he will just grab your attention, the sight of him alone will send most running.

No words, other than making casual conversation with you, needed, and when you aren’t looking, he smirks as he watches the person you had been talking to scurry off scared.

You aren’t oblivious, oh no. You know his game, and you’ll poke fun at him for it too.

But if you bring it up and tease him, he’ll only ruffle your hair and push your head away, playing hard to get while the two of you go off to do whatever you were doing.

Sometimes he’ll let the person keep thinking that they have a chance with you, just for the hell of it. You’ll let them know when you’ve had enough and he trust you to handle yourself.

And most the time that you do let the flattery go on, it’s because it serves a purpose.

Information, drinks, news, gossip, whatever, it’s easier to get that sort of thing when you left your armor and cloak at home.

You seem more approachable, and while the occasional sweet talker buzzing around you like a fly is annoying, its nothing a good hit to the jaw won’t fix.

You’ll have a laugh about it later when flying back home to Wrathwood.

Do you think “Moon Sailor” was a bit, on the nose?

it was intended to be! i made the pilot while keeping in mind that the magical girl genre is actually somewhat niche

i wanted to make sure people like my parents or my girlfriend's law school peers or people who don't watch anime at all could easily follow and understand what's going on. if i asked my parents to name a magical girl anime, they'd be like "what is that" but if i asked them what sailor moon was, they'd be like "oh yeah i've seen those characters before!" sailor moon undoubtedly iconic and people IMMEDIATELY know what it is upon hearing it. "moon sailor" is VERY OBVIOUSLY a parody of that so it's easy to get in that one second of time i have before moving on.

the tricky thing about doing a pilot is the setup and the trickier thing about doing a SUBVERSIVE pilot is that you have to set up what you're subverting on top of everything else. that's why zira's dialogue and language is also a bit expository and on the nose during the "gasp" part. there are people watching who don't know the magical girl genre and its tropes! like how is someone supposed to know that aika anticlimactically poofing into her magical form was a joke if they didn't even know that a magical girl transformation was SUPPOSED to happen? i thought i spelled out hoshi's whole thing pretty well or didn't really need to go that into it but i saw a lot of people confused about what they were and why they were there at all (until zira tells us that they're a magical mascot).

back to "moon sailor," it's a silly one off joke meant to quickly signal to the audience that zira likes manga/anime and the magical girl genre specifically as well as circumvent copyright. i also personally just like on the nose bits hahaha. like on big city greens whenever we parody a brand we usually just put a "B" in front of it. one of my favorite being "blego blocks"

this turned into unsolicited writing advice and definitely more than what you asked for but i hope its helpful to anyone out there looking to make their own shows!! clarity, spelling stuff out and sometimes handholding is important especially in a pilot. even though it can feel stilted sometimes, it's better than completely losing your audience or leaving them with questions. but now that the pilot's done it's job, any following episodes i might make will be unburdened by too much expository language haha

The hero and the villain

My story takes place in my depiction of minecraft, specifically a modded version i play with my girlfriend, she and i make little bits of lore and honestly i hope that people would love to see my story grow

There's my bby girl Vandelle ♡ here's some info that bby forgot to add: Vandelle has a crush on Abigore that unfortunately goes unrequited when the shard takes him over and he was too busy indulging in his bloodlust of vengeance, even got very jealous of Rosette, fearing she'll take her crush away; but they ended up being close friends

Since Abigore's loss, she took over the crew as their new leader in vengeance against Nash Dunes for believing taking her beloved general away, she also gave birth to 3 sons, named Clyde, Clement, and Conrad; where she taught them ways of basically being mini Abigores but in adulthood things go wrong when Conrad falls for Nash's daughter, Gloria, and Clement wanted to break the cycle of vengeance and help his mother in getting better as her grief warped her mind with her vengeance, making her mentally unstable, meanwhile Clyde is gladly wanting to follow his father's footsteps

Though her crusade ended up being stopped by the Dunes, even by 2 of her sons who finally got her to see reason, disbanding the crew and ending the crusade of hers

She later on ends up marrying Rosette, as Rosette ended up having strong feelings for her even while Abigore was alive, much to Clyde's dismay

fortunately the target was protected by a young man who wielded two stone swords and his golems that stood by him, abigore lost his friends, his home, and his status all in one night, he swore to kill the guardsman that took his life away. the one he truly cared about the most was the only woman he ever loved, rosette wineblood, she felt great despair when he was gone, but over time she saw the faulty ways of the steeltusk tribe, leaving it behind for the life of piracy, where she leads a colorful and vibrant pirate life. The once known general had toiled, seeking and schemeing revenge on the halfbreed hero known as nash dunes at his lowest point, after losing his ship, his crew, and his hope, he comes in contact with a shard of an ancient artifact, it promised him his revenge and much more if he vows to find the rest of its form. models by me

Unfortunately he was blinded by the bloodloss he uses the artifact to finish his enemy, but it fails him.. after using the incomplete orb of dominance to transform into the heart of vengeance, he loses control of the orb, and is absorbed into the vessel, where his arch nemesis proceeds to crush it, finalizing the orb and abigore's fate. art by me
