its 2025 and the marauders fandom needs to TRULY be ship/let ship. kittywater is perfect, gilderat or wtv idek wtf it is but im here for it, we need to stop saying "ship/let ship EXCEPT... for the fandom that loves drarry and jegulus, and complains that the female characters (and sapphic ships)—specifically lily evans—dont get enough love, theres barely any noise for narcissa x lily

the slytherinxgryffindoor, black family drama, foils whos love for their sons saved the wizarding world

black cat, rich girl and academic weapon muggleborn bond over their estranged sibling dynamics and want for a family to protect and love

the tension between present narcissa and snape (especially when she has him form an unbreakable vow to protect her son) when they both wanted lily but fumbled it to protect themselves

the angst when draco comes home complaining about the potter boy—who, just like in narcissa’s life, lily is hidden within, not in surname but in the eyes and the heart.

the extra weight it puts on the scene where narcissa defies Voldemort in telling him that harry is dead. my son is safe so i will give you the same favour, lily.

both lily and narcissa marrying into families notoriously loud and opposing on the wizengamot—marrying young to the pretty and popular, but also asshole boys from school
