hot take

Lu Wild would probably be pretty good at dungeons

True he may not have done any dungeons at the magnitude of others in the series or encountered something say, like magic walls for instance, but Wild would be able to find his way around one way or another.

In breath of the wild there are 120 shrines (plus the 16 from the dlc, making 136), even though nearly half of them being "blessing" shrines (which quite a few of them have their own challenge to access them), and about twenty of them being tests of strength- which sort of act as a mini-boss battles- the rest of them are each designed to test Link in a different way. Many having twists and turns, shifting rooms, and unexpected surprises, others having puzzles, strange mechanisms, and ancient tech that needs to be manipulated, while others having traps, ambushes, and dangerous pathways right around the corner.

The divine beasts, while not teeming with enemies, have their own challenges that Wild had to go through. The malice infested monsters and interiors hindering his progress, Wild had to manipulate the dungeons themselves to be able to conquer them. The dungeon from the champions ballad being one of the hardest, teeming with guardians while trying to manipulate the many mechanisms within.

There is also the trial of the sword, where Wild would have to face level after level of enemies- strategizing how to take down wave after wave of enemies with minimal resources and little respite.

We could just add the lomei labyrinths just for the sake of argument- while not dungeons, they a massive mazes on the very outskirts of hyrule, each featuring many twists and turns that you could easily get lost in. Lomei labyrinth island is even patrolled by guardian stalkers and skywatchers making it even more dangerous.

And probably adding the many things Flora has probably taught him about ancient technology and other things- he knows his way around puzzles and weird mechanisms, Wild can be very attentive and perceptive when he needs (or wants) to be. Paired with his skill to use just about anything as a tool, Wild will find his way through just about anywhere.

[Thank you for reading through my rambles 🙏]
