With the help of the funds raised through the campaign, Raghad has been able to evacuate several of her family members. Those family members are now trying to find employment, but they have lost the paperwork they need to apply for jobs and must go through the costly and time consuming process of becoming recertifed. Without a stable income, Raghad's relatives have had remain reliant on her for support with their living expenses.
Those family members currently need help with rent. This includes Raghad's aunts, cousins, and elderly relatives. She is trying to raise $4,000 by the end of February to help them with housing expenses. The update announcing this was posted to the gfm on Feb 14th. Since then, only $158 has been raised.
I was extremely late in seeing the update and I am trying to help amplify it. Please share so that this can reach more people who can donate. If you yourselves are capable of giving monetary support, please give what you can.
I am unaware of any official vetting for Raghad's campaign. However, @/transmutationisms has been in contact with a family friend of Raghad's and has expressed they are confident in the campaign's legitimacy. Additional information can be found in transmutationisms' original post about Raghad's family.
The Story of Mohamed Hussein Ismail and His Family: A Journey of Struggle and Hope ๐๏ธ๐๐๏ธ
I am Mohammad Hussein Ismail, a 23-year-old Palestinian from Gaza, reaching out to you during these unimaginably difficult times. My life and that of my family have been profoundly changed by the war, and today I write to you, hoping for your support and assistance.
My family consists of five members: my mother Raja (51 years old), my father Hussein (58 years old), my sister Iman (18 years old), and my younger sister Noor (13 years old). We used to live a simple life filled with hope and ambition before the war turned our lives upside down.
On a grim night at the onset of the war, our neighborhood was relentlessly bombed. The blasts shook our home, compelling us to flee into the darkness, navigating through sporadic explosions, desperately seeking safety. By morning, we reached southern Gaza, seeking refuge in Rafah, our hearts heavy with sorrow for what we had lost. ๐๏ธ๐๐๏ธ
In this brutal war, my father was injured, severing tendons in his finger due to relentless bombardment. Due to malnutrition and rampant diseases, my sister Iman contracted hepatitis, exacerbating our suffering. We endured the cold winter within the confines of a tent, and the scorching summer heat as well, trapped inside due to harsh weather conditions. Unable to stay together as a family, we were forced to scatter and flee once again from Rafah due to intense shelling, seeking refuge in Deir al-Balah within the Gaza Strip, where our struggles continued in search of safety and hope for survival.๐๏ธ๐๐๏ธ
Now displaced, we endure an immensely challenging life, filled with hardships. We struggle tirelessly to prepare food over open fires, to fetch water, and even find a place to sleep. We've lost the basic comforts of life. Due to inadequate shelter, severe infections have ravaged my body, and I've grown exhausted in the quest for treatment amidst the scarcity of medicine.๐๏ธ๐๐๏ธ
Our plight is desperate, and we implore your support to rebuild our shattered lives and secure a future for our family. Your kindness and generosity can bring about a profound change. Your contributions will provide us with the means to find safe shelter, access essential medical care, and obtain the basic necessities of life we so desperately need.๐๏ธ๐๐๏ธ
I had an old account that was deleted, and I am pleading for your help in sharing the new one. Our only hope is that you can help my family survive this brutal war. ๐๐๐น
Please, we plead for your help during this critical time. Every donation, regardless of its size, brings us closer to safety, stability, and the opportunity to rebuild our shattered lives.๐๐น

Dear compassionate souls, I come to you with a heavy heart, burdened by our story, our lives shattered by the ongoing onslaught of violence in Gaza. Since the beginning of October we have been suffering from terrible conditions and difficulties. Living in Gaza is terrifying during these times, bombs are constantly falling and our lives are in danger. Our house was completely destroyed and we were forced us to move from khanyounis to el mawwasi with minimal personal belongings. I am Ahmed Al-Agha, 25 years old, a graduate of media and mass communication from Al-Azhar University in Gaza. I was a volunteer in the Public Relations Department at the University of Gaza. Due to the difficulty of jobs in the Gaza Strip, I had to register for a professional diploma in culinary arts, but I did not complete it due to the terrible war. After my father passed away in 2021, life pushed me to grow up early and take responsibility for my family, including my mother (samah), my brother(omar)and my three sisters, abla 20years old,yomna17years old and jody 9years old. I dream of owning a small restaurant in order to support my beautiful family. Allow me to introduce you to my family, the very core of my existence: Samah, my great mother, an Arabic language graduate, a strong, courageous, compassionate, and extremely generous mother. She loves her kitchen utensils more than anything else, and becomes very sad if a plate or cup breaks. Her main goal in life is to gain her motherโs approval and the happiness of her children in all possible ways and to do the impossible for them. Omar is an accounting graduate from Al-Aqsa University in Gaza. He is an ambitious young man with big dreams. He loves going out with his friends and driving cars. He used to work for Atlas , but at the beginning of November the company's headquarters was completely destroyed, and he is now without work. Abla is an intelligent and educated girl, she loved children and reading novels, My mother depends on her to manage the household. She prepares us the best shawarma fattah in the world and many wonderful desserts. She studies English at Al-Aqsa University and dreams of becoming an English teacher, but her dream will not come true because her university was completely destroyed. Youmna is a wonderful girl, a student in the second year of secondary school. She has a leadership personality. She was a camp leader in the Association for Culture and Free Thought. She has a talent for drawing and participates in art exhibitions in her school and in civil society institutions. She loves drinking Nescafe and listening to music when she draws. She has courses in drawing. The characters: Her dream is to create her own art gallery and to study at the College of Fine Arts. Jody, my little sister, is 9 years old. She is smart and beautiful. She worked and dreams of becoming a model in the future and has the talent of acting. She participated in an advertisement for a bridal chalet and was the heroine of the advertisement. I felt very happy to participate in the advertisement. She suffered from severe psychological disorders at the beginning of the war after she saw several children dispersed as a result of the bombing of the house opposite ours. I try to maintain her psychological state by going together to the seashore and meeting her friends in the nearby tents and playing with them so that she is not distracted by the terrible news and scenes shown on the Internet. , the war has shattered our lives, leaving us without a safe haven or a place to call it home. We are human beings, just like you. We eat, drink, watch Tom and Jerry, love to travel, and love life . The only solution to save my family is to get them out of Gaza by paying an amount of 5,000 US dollars for each of the above-mentioned people to . If the money is available, it can get them out within thirty days. โPlease consider that the above mentioned people are your family. How would you like them to be helped ? Your help, even if it is just one dollar, Im sure that it will never forget your help
๐จ Itโs urgent ๐จ

I experienced the traumatic experience of displacement four times with my family in Gaza before I was evacuated alone to Ireland with the help of my Irish college.
No words can describe the fear that engulfs us when we see thousands of leaflets in our sky dropped from Israeli warplanes ordering us to leave for other places that are just as dangerous. It is a tedious and terrible process of packing everything we need, begging bus drivers over the phone (mostly with a feeble phone signal) to come and pick us up at any cost. Unfortunately, displacement and running from death became the daily routine of adults and children alike in Gaza.
When displaced, sniper bullets and indiscriminate heavy bombardment are not the only risks that face my family and other people. Another life-threatening problem facing people in Gaza is the sewage flooding the streets of Gaza after Israel deliberately destroyed most of the infrastructure. This led to the spread of fatal viruses and diseases like Poliomyelitis as announced by the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
It pains my heart that my beloved city Gaza has turned into an apocalyptic ghost city where innocent people, children and adults, are indiscriminately killed daily. It is shocking to see this becoming normalized and the extent to which the world has become desensitized. What happened to humanity and human rights?! When will we see a ceasefire and be able to hug and reunite with our families?! When will we wake up from this never-ending nightmare?
The Lifeless corpses of innocent Palestinians decompose in the streets of Gaza and under the rubble. These bodies become food for stray dogs. I wonder what hopes and dreams the person had before he was killed. Did it hurt? Was he scared? Was it fast or painfully slow?! Does he/ she have children? Does his/her family know?! Was he/she unlucky to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?! Most importantly, how does one decide what is a wrong place and a wrong time to be when every place and every time in Gaza is wrong?! Survival is nothing but a matter of luck in Gaza.
Imagining that this could be the fate of my family makes me go insane with heart-stopping fear!
With the increasing escalation in the region, hope for a ceasefire in Gaza fades away and I have to live every second of every day with the haunting thoughts that my family could be the next to leave this cruel world brutally. Therefore, I am exerting all efforts to get them out of Gaza and hopefully reunite with them in Ireland where I am continuing my studies.
I cannot do that without your help. Decide today to play a significant role in saving my family in Gaza including many children with a prosperous future ahead of them.

We need your kindness and help in life
Hello ๐, please understand my situation
My name is Moamen, father of three children
I find myself in this difficult situation, and I humbly ask for your help to save the lives of my family, especially my infant, 1 year old.
Your help to buy the necessities that we may be able to afford during the time of no income.
Your help to get us out of Gaza to Egypt and building a new life outside Gaza.
Asking for help is not easy, but we had no choice because we want to survive and strive to rebuild our shattered lives.
We are very grateful for any help you can offer, no matter how small, as your help will go a long way in alleviating our suffering.
I hope you will share my story with your family and friends.
Thanks for your kind support

i genuinely hate how people have to sit and write a post that stands out while boosting a fundraiser because most people won't bat an eye at the misery and inhumane conditions Palestinians are living in.
i see people making art and telling others to use it because fundraisers with art are generally reblogged more often. i see people using colored text in order to make the post more eye catching.
palestinians on instagram are using popular audios and stitch trending reels at the beginning to make the world pay attention to them. imagine having to make something look entertaining in order to survive.
they are living under constant threat of israeli airstrikes, bombing, scarcity of food and disease. many have lost a lot in the past few months.
palestinians on tumblr are posting their pictures and the horrible conditions in which they are living. they travel long distances for internet connection only to be called a scammer by some privileged ass who cannot locate gaza on a map.
here are some verified gfms. please share the linked posts. it's the bare minimum we can do from the comforts of our home.
