freedom to haiti 🇭🇹
masterdoc for haitian aid.
cojeha is an aid resource for haitian youth.
african americans for the haitian freedom! black caribbeans for haitian freedom! 🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹🇭🇹
thinking heavily about the last time pluto was in aquarius in 1777. at the beginning, the haitian people were still in chains.
and by the end of the pluto in aquarius transit in 1798, haiti were a free people who inspired revolts all over the americas. a handful of latin american flags (🇨🇴🇪🇨🇩🇴 for example) owe theirs to haiti. and we all should be thanking haiti for what they did. but the global african people had a long way to go before we could call ourselves truly free.
now i’m thinking about us sitting at the last degree of capricorn as we await pluto’s return to aquarius after 250 years… just to see tweets of nazis peddling donald trump’s untrue claim that haitian migrants were eating cats and dogs when the u.s. is the reason for the immigration from haiti.
this is all so karmic. as a black people, we really gotta stick together for always but for these trying times. the last time pluto was in aquarius, haiti inspired millions of africans into freedom. now we need to show our solitary with the haitian people through materially aiding them in any way we can.
the way haitians have no refuge in the dominican republic, the states, or haiti itself shows the pervasiveness of anti-haitianism & anti-blackness. but don’t let nationality or ethnicity divide us. we african people are all one people. we were chained and split up but we are one people. in the haitian constitution, they already said the global black people have a home in them. so i will forever love u like kin, Haiti. freedom to You is freedom to us all! asè & to a ayiti libre!! 🇭🇹
A Call for Mercy and Help 😢💔
My name is Alaa From Gaza, I am 35 years old and a mother of three children. Our home in khan yonis was bombed and destroyed, forcing us to flee nine times, living in a weak tent amidst the sounds of war. In the intense summer heat, we suffer from insects that make our lives even more difficult, and my children are struggling with malnutrition and illnesses.😔
My ten-year-old son, Ahmad, suffers from severe allergies in his eyes, and I cannot provide him with the necessary treatment. My fifteen-year-old daughter, Raghad, has extreme allergies and needs special food that I cannot afford. Meanwhile, my fourteen-year-old son, Ismail, was an excellent student, but he has lost the chance to realize his dreams due to these painful circumstances. 😢💔
I plead with you, with my broken heart; I need your help in securing our basic needs and treating my children. Your assistance can bring hope back to our lives.
🙏 For those who can give, please don’t hesitate to lend a helping hand. My campaign has been verified through beesandwatermelos@, and you can find the GoFundMe link here: https://gofund.me/6bdcd329. Together, we can revive hope in our hearts. 💖✨

I experienced the traumatic experience of displacement four times with my family in Gaza before I was evacuated alone to Ireland with the help of my Irish college.
No words can describe the fear that engulfs us when we see thousands of leaflets in our sky dropped from Israeli warplanes ordering us to leave for other places that are just as dangerous. It is a tedious and terrible process of packing everything we need, begging bus drivers over the phone (mostly with a feeble phone signal) to come and pick us up at any cost. Unfortunately, displacement and running from death became the daily routine of adults and children alike in Gaza.
When displaced, sniper bullets and indiscriminate heavy bombardment are not the only risks that face my family and other people. Another life-threatening problem facing people in Gaza is the sewage flooding the streets of Gaza after Israel deliberately destroyed most of the infrastructure. This led to the spread of fatal viruses and diseases like Poliomyelitis as announced by the Ministry of Health in Gaza.
It pains my heart that my beloved city Gaza has turned into an apocalyptic ghost city where innocent people, children and adults, are indiscriminately killed daily. It is shocking to see this becoming normalized and the extent to which the world has become desensitized. What happened to humanity and human rights?! When will we see a ceasefire and be able to hug and reunite with our families?! When will we wake up from this never-ending nightmare?
The Lifeless corpses of innocent Palestinians decompose in the streets of Gaza and under the rubble. These bodies become food for stray dogs. I wonder what hopes and dreams the person had before he was killed. Did it hurt? Was he scared? Was it fast or painfully slow?! Does he/ she have children? Does his/her family know?! Was he/she unlucky to be in the wrong place at the wrong time?! Most importantly, how does one decide what is a wrong place and a wrong time to be when every place and every time in Gaza is wrong?! Survival is nothing but a matter of luck in Gaza.
Imagining that this could be the fate of my family makes me go insane with heart-stopping fear!
With the increasing escalation in the region, hope for a ceasefire in Gaza fades away and I have to live every second of every day with the haunting thoughts that my family could be the next to leave this cruel world brutally. Therefore, I am exerting all efforts to get them out of Gaza and hopefully reunite with them in Ireland where I am continuing my studies.
I cannot do that without your help. Decide today to play a significant role in saving my family in Gaza including many children with a prosperous future ahead of them.

i genuinely hate how people have to sit and write a post that stands out while boosting a fundraiser because most people won't bat an eye at the misery and inhumane conditions Palestinians are living in.
i see people making art and telling others to use it because fundraisers with art are generally reblogged more often. i see people using colored text in order to make the post more eye catching.
palestinians on instagram are using popular audios and stitch trending reels at the beginning to make the world pay attention to them. imagine having to make something look entertaining in order to survive.
they are living under constant threat of israeli airstrikes, bombing, scarcity of food and disease. many have lost a lot in the past few months.
palestinians on tumblr are posting their pictures and the horrible conditions in which they are living. they travel long distances for internet connection only to be called a scammer by some privileged ass who cannot locate gaza on a map.
here are some verified gfms. please share the linked posts. it's the bare minimum we can do from the comforts of our home.

From a family of young children, women and the elderly 😢🥺
My mother suffers from a stroke, diabetes and high blood pressure and needs intensive medical care and expensive medications 🥺😭

Our life is harsh because we lack all the basic necessities of life. Everything has become scarce and difficult to obtain. There is no food, no water, and no medicine.
So I ask you to help me keep my family safe and alive so that I can pay for their expensive travel costs from the Gaza Strip to Egypt and our current daily living expenses in the Gaza Strip.
Please don't leave my family alone 🙏
