Displaced grandmother making clothes for children
I'm sorry for the cruelty of this picture, but I couldn't see Amina and not share her story. Trigger warning: eye injury (bloody eyes).
Amina Ghanem, 13 years old, says: We were sleeping and we heard the sound of tanks when they came and walked over the caravan in which I, my father and my siblings lived. The tank squeezed us inside the tin all night, and we were ran over, until the morning. And when they finally let us out, I found that my father and my little sister have been killed. Now we've been brought here.
She tells her story in this video with her little brother beside her. They're all on their own. Their mother is outside of Gaza and cannot get in or get them out. They have no way of communication, their father and sister are killed.
The eyewitness of Genocide.
Fuck off im so in love with this fictional man it’s embarrassing

Leona: *empurra a Yuu pra debaixo do sol*
I love when dogs and cats just let you pat the shit out of them and they enjoy it so much. Like yeah dude real quick I just need to play you like a bongo and they’re like god yes I’ve been waiting for someone to play me like a bongo
"It isn't a Otome"
Someone forgot to warn malleus about that
Like I understand we can't go into the MC's backstory too much since they're a player insert. But I wish the characters were more visibly impacted by Yuu and their actions. Like in book 4, I was touched by Ace and Deuce showing up to help you (even though they ended up being too late). It at least felt like Yuu mattered to someone
YES YES YES
My thoughts exactly.
And it ties with how the Fandom tends to overpraise Yuu, like, no? Yuu is not "playing therapist", Yuu's barely having any impact on the story. Y'all need to play some more Otome games if you think that's playing therapist, starting with Mystic Messenger.
But, yeah, I'd love to see more of Yuu's impact on the characters, like, beyond "you saved me once, I'll help you this time". That little bit with Adeuce in Book 4 was so good, seeing people actually caring for Yuu (which is also so fucking rare, like, how many times has that happened?)
Another thing I'd love to see is characters showing Yuu some more respect, Malleus and Lilia and their idea to start decorating Ramshackle without Yuu's permission AHEM. I know we ain't getting any of it from Crowley, but I hoped some of them would be less assholey.
Also, gotta say, for the "famous magicless Prefect", no one seems to be wondering how Yuu's doing without magic. Or how they're doing in general after being thrown into a new world. Yuu's mental health must be inexistent by now
