*** This spell is meant for increasing the bond of a previously established relationship. This spell wonโt create a relationship that was not previously there.***
CHANT:
Like a bee to a flower, we need to be lovers, one cannot live without the other, and should it be found that we are apart, weโll be connected at the core of our hearts. For I am your one and you are to mine, forever and always, together in time.
WHAT YOUโLL NEED:
1. A purple candle 2. A gold thread/string
WHAT YOUโLL NEED TO DO:
1. Light the purple candle. 2. The gold thread will be a representation of your bond. Wrap it around your candle and tie a knot ONLY ONCE while repeating the chant. 3. Keep this candle at your bedside or somewhere in the roomย that you share with your partner. You can keep the candle lit as long as you would like but you can blow out the candle once the knot has been tied. 4. Every night, simply light the candle and retighten the knot. This represents strengthening the bond of your relationship continuously. Because relationships are a continuous effort, they must be continuously strengthened. You may retighten throughout the day if necessary. Repeat the chant while doing this as often as you can (kind of like singing during any task). ***OPTIONAL: You may engrave a sigil of Strength into the side of the candle***
Blessed be.
Explain the basic: shielding and banishing
Shielding and banishing are two of the most important things you have to learn before you start your journey as a witch. Both practices are essential for maintaining energetic boundaries and ensuring a safe environment for magical or spiritual work. used to protect oneself from negative energies, entities, or influences and to remove unwanted energies or entities from a space. Here's a breakdown of shielding and banishing in witchcraft:
Shielding: Shielding involves creating a protective barrier around oneself, which acts as a defense against negative energies or influences. It helps maintain personal boundaries and prevents unwanted energies from affecting one's well-being. Common methods of shielding include:
Visualization: Visualizing a shield of white light, a protective bubble, or an impenetrable barrier around your body. This visualization can be accompanied by the intention of repelling negativity while allowing positive energies to flow.
Energy Manipulation: Drawing upon personal energy or universal energy to create a protective shield. This can involve using hand movements, gestures, or energy manipulation techniques to form and maintain the shield.
Use of Objects or Symbols: Carrying protective talismans, amulets, or symbols such as pentagrams, runes, or protective sigils that represent personal protection. These items can aid in maintaining the shield's strength.
Banishing: Banishing refers to the act of removing negative energies, entities, or influences from a person, place, or space. It's a method used to cleanse and purify an area or oneself from unwanted energies. Common practices for banishing include:
Smudging or Cleansing: Burning herbs like sage, palo santo, or cedar to clear a space of negative energies. Using the smoke to cleanse and purify the environment.
Salt or Protective Circles: Sprinkling salt around a space or creating a protective circle by physically drawing or visualizing it to keep unwanted energies out or to contain them within the circle for removal.
Rituals and Spells: Performing rituals or casting spells specifically designed for banishing. This involves using candles, herbs, oils, and specific incantations to remove negative influences or energies.
Invocation of Higher Powers: Calling upon higher spiritual entities, deities, or guides associated with protection or cleansing to aid in banishing unwanted energies or entities.
As always, I will love to hear your thoughts! and if you have any questions, I will be more than happy to answer them! If you liked it, leave a comment or reblog (that is always appreciated!). and have a wonderful day or night!
You Will Need:
โช๏ธA slip of paper
โช๏ธA pen
โช๏ธA fireproof bowl on a heat resistant surface
โช๏ธMatches or a lighter
This spell is very simple to execute. Begin by writing down what youโre banishing, be it the name of a person or spirit or something more intangible like procrastination or negative self talk. Focus on what youโve written for a moment, call it to mind as clearly as you can.
Light the slip of paper on fire and drop it into the bowl. As it burns imagine your target leaving your life and then focus all of your attention on what your life will be like after the banishing takes effect.
When the paper is finished burning you should dispose of the ashes away from your house, you can scatter them on the ground or into the wind or even just dump them into the trash bin outside of your house but get them away from you as soon as possible.
This form of banishing is excellent if youโre short on time or energy, itโs simple quick and to the point. Of course, proper care should be taken not to light yourself or anything else on fire. Donโt perform this spell on flammable surfaces, outside on windy days or in any environment that you canโt control. Another good idea is to be sure that any pets you may have are out of the room, you wouldโt want any curious whiskers getting singed during your spell.

P.S. please remember that everyone's practice is their own and you should do what feels right to you while respecting that other people have their own beliefs (as long as they're not hateful).
There are lots of ways to create spells, from planning everything to the minutest detail ahead of time to absolutely flying by the seat of your pants in the moment. If you'd like to write your own spells, either for use in your craft or as a creative exercise, here are some suggested steps that I use in my own practice:
1) Determine the intent or goal of your spell. Decide, first and foremost, what you want the spell to do. Refine your goal if necessary and try not to be too nebulous. Your intent tells the spell what it's meant to do. A more focused goal may increase the chances of success.
2) Determine how you want the spell to manifest. Decide how the spell should work and what the result should look like. This is a good time to build in a sign of success, especially for spells that may not work in an obvious or visible way.
3) Determine what or whom the spell will affect. If the spell is to have a target, be it a person or a place or an animal or an object, decide what that should be and how they or it will be represented in the casting.
4) Determine how long the spell is meant to work. If your spell is timebound or has a deadline, decide what that will be. If the spell is meant to work long-term, you may want to check in and refresh it from time to time. (Not every spell will be timebound. Many spells will simply expire when they have fulfilled their purpose or if they are blocked or circumstances are not favorable.)
5) Determine the timing of the spell, if applicable. Not everyone uses celestial or astrological timing for their spells, but if you do, look into the prevailing conditions and decide on an advantageous time for your casting. (Please note that magical timing can only enhance your spell and casting something on the "wrong" day will not necessarily cause it to fail.)
6) Determine what methods and materials you want to use to cast the spell. Decide how you're going to go about performing the casting, whether you're doing a ritual or making a charm or just using energy. If you're going to need a ritual space or physical components, plan that out and make sure it fits with what you want to do.
7) Determine the words, if any, which will empower the spell. If you want to include a prayer or a petition or a song or an incantation with your spell, decide what that should be. This is not strictly necessary and the words need not be spoken aloud. (Rhyming incantations are not required, but if you prefer them that way, you can certainly do so.)
8) Prepare the materials for casting the spell. Get all your necessaries together ahead of time. Make sure you have everything you need, that tools and components are in good and useable condition, prepare your workspace, and make sure everything is within easy reach so you don't have to stop and search for things in the middle of your casting. (And for goodness sake, if you're working with open flame, observe fire safety and tie your hair and sleeves back.)
9) Finalize details and perform the casting. When you're ready to begin, try to eliminate as many possibilities for distraction or interruption as possible. Go over your spell and components one more time, then proceed with casting the spell.
10) Record the particulars for future reference and to determine how well the spell worked. Make a record of the spell, including your goal, how it should manifest, the words and components used, the date of the casting, the casting method and procedure, and how the casting went. If there are any additional details or observations that seem important, include those as well. This will serve as a useful learning tool in the future and will allow you to check your work if the results make themselves known.
It's useful to write spells from time to time if the inspiration strikes you, in order to better understand how they fit together and how they work. Plus it's a fun and creative journaling exercise and recording the spells you cast a great way to measure your progress later on.

Happy Witching! ๐ฎโจ
I have been performing a bit of energy work+spell with an ailing plant this past week. I find this practice to be helpful at getting me to spiritually focus on my plant and its needs. I align myself with its experience and try to help it recover while lifting the spiritual morale. This is my personal method on how I work on a sick or injured plant. I sometimes just use my own energy, other times I call upon other energies for an added boost. ๐บ๐ธ๐บ ๐ฑFirst, I troubleshoot my plant and figure out whatโs wrong with it. A google search is useful if I am dealing with something I am unfamiliar with, however typical problems could be overwatering, watering at the wrong time of day for certain plants in certain climates, not watering enough, wrong sunlight situation, infection, poor soil, or shock. I take the necessary steps to correct the issue first. The energy work is to help the plant recover, not to heal it without tending to its needs.
๐ฑPlace plant in front of working space, or I sit near the plant (for the ones not potted). I also place any items corresponding with my intent on the soil before the plant (crystals, oracle cards, etc). Tip: I like to play plant favorite music during this energy work session.
๐ฑCenter and ground
๐ฑOptional for extra energy that is not my own: Visualize a large taproot extending from my tailbone and rooting deep into the earth.
๐ฑCall upon the earth to grant me extra energy that I can direct to the ailing plant. (If I work with any other spirit or energy, or call upon guardian spirits like spiders or bees, this would be the time).
๐ฑAn earthly energy winds its way up through my roots and into my body. As it flows through me, it intermingles with my personal energy and I focus on charging it with an intent. For example, to heal or aid growth.
๐ฑI feel the energy being charged as it begins to flow up my spine, into my chest, through my arms and out my finger tips. At this point I place my fingers on the plant gently and visualize it receiving my energy.
๐ฑWhen it feels complete, I withdraw my roots and send the plant one last burst of my energy to seal the session.
๐ฑLeave an appropriate offering for the condition it is recovering from. If it needs fertilizer and water, consider offering banana eggshell water. (Obviously do not offer water if the plant is suffering from being overwatered). I also leave a strand of my hair with the plant as a protective token.
๐ฑLeave an offering for the earth for its assistance, and to any other spirits I called upon. ๐บ๐ธ๐บ I repeat these sessions every day or every other day until my plant is beginning to show signs of improvement. Sometimes they donโt make it, and thatโs ok. I bless the plant and return it to the earth (compost) so that it may be useful for future growth.
Watch your candles closely and learn to read them to help you with your practice.
The Flame
A strong flame:ย It means that your energies are raised. There is a lot of power behind your spell and little to no resistance. Indicates that all your power and energy is focused on your manifestation. This is a good sign. If a candle shaped into a figure is used and has a strong flame it means that whoever it represents is either angry, winning, or using authority over another. When their are two figures the candle with the higher flame has authority over the other person. ย ย
A weak flame: Indicates that the magick you cast is facing a heavy opposition and is a sign that you may need to recast your spell in order to overcome the opposing force. On a figure candle this may indicate that the representative may be loosing a battle or an argument.ย
A jumping flame: This indicates strong emotions. There may also be some sort of resistance against you. Maybe close your circle and bring your mind back to focus before continuing. It may also mean an explosion of energy. When two figure candles are being used it often means that an energetic or a heated argument is taking place between them. ย
A noisy candle: Indicates a conversation.ย It may may that a spirit is trying to send you a message or get in contact with you. The louder the noises get the more urgent communication must be.ย
The flame catches something on fire: Someone one may be using malicious magick against you.ย ย
A clean even burning candle: Means your spell and manifestations are likely to come true.
Fast Burn:ย The results of your spell will happen quickly.
Flickering Flame: If there is no breeze then it means a spirit is near by. If it is a devotional flame it means you were able to get in contact with your deity.
Cannot blow the flame out: A spirit may not be finished its conversation with you or you did not completeย a spell. The spirit needs to complete its work, something may be may in the works that you do not want to interrupt.ย
A flame goes out while burning: This means the spirits cannot help you and the answer you seek is already determined. ย
The Smoke
Black smoke/soot: Your energy and magick is being blocked. Negative energy is being sent your way, whether as a curse or hex. You may soon be faced with tough challenges and a hard road ahead of you.ย
Smoke wafts towards you: It means your call will likely be answered or your spell has been cast successfully. You will get results quickly.
Smoke wafts away from you: You must work harder in order for your calls to be answered.
Watch the direction the smoke wafts: East - Something powerful is assisting you, North - You are ready to begin your ritual and get results, South - The spell will be successful, West - A powerful interference from an outside force.
Smoking Candle: Negative energy is being burned away.
The Wax
When a candle leaves wax residue: Your spell may need to be repeated.
Look for symbols in the candle wax, like reading tea leaves.

I wanted to do a quick safety guide to spirit work (been wanting to do this for a long time, tb).ย
Around Halloween, it becomes a favorite hobby of everyone, and while I think spirit work is an awesome way to enhance your craft, I also think you need to take it incredibly slow. Hereโs some tips that I use, and I would advise for those of you whoโre delving into spirit work to use as well:
-Protection: This applies to yourself and your space. Often I wear protective jewelry and meditate before I begin spirit work. I put myself in a mindset where Iโm in control of whatโs going on, so that I know who Iโm talking to or who I want to talk to.
-Be specific: Donโt just call out to random spirits. If you donโt have a name in mindโthatโs find. But specify that you want good spirits entering your spaceโand only good spirits. If youโre not used to spirit work, asking for any spirit to come through the veil can attract negative spirits.
-Say goodbye: You must say goodbye to the spirits. This is something I practice daily, because they do and will linger around if you donโt! even if they are good, maybe itโs not something you want. Good can also be scary. ย And thank them for their time as well.
-Banishment: This is essentially telling a clingy spirit to leave if they havenโt already. ย There is a variety of different ways to tell a spirit
-Cleanse: Cleanse your space afterwards just to ward off any remaining energy. This isnโt quite the same concept as banishment, as with banishment youโre dealing with an entire entity. But, with every ritual you do and every entity you invite into your space, left over energy can stay and build up. So, youโll want to cleanse it. this too can be done a variety of ways (I have cleansing crystals with me, so I usually skip this step).
-Choose a safe means of communication: Basically, if you are a beginner DO NOT use the Ouija board. I might be biased against it, but I also know that the tool can be used correctly and yield amazing results. However, because many beginners using it donโt do so correctly (and thereโs a terrible culture attached to it), I advise you to try safer methods. Consider a pendulum, dice, and automatic writing. Or even the safest form (imo), mediation.
any means of communication can turn out badly if you donโt know what youโre doing though.ย
-Ask for the intercession of other spirits: In general, before you begin spirit work, look for a spirit that might help you. this can be your guide, your ancestors, or a religious deity. Now if youโre all trying to do spirit work on Halloween, you probably going to skip this part because it can take a very long time. but perhaps instead of reaching out to random spirits on Halloween, use it as a time to find a spirit companion.
-Use things to safely enhance your experience: My go to is selenite! Others have different things, just stay safe and healthy!
Also just do your research! Feel free to ask around. Tumblr is one of the largest collections of witches Iโve ever seen on the internet so please, please take advantage of that!
If I have anything else to add, Iโll do so later on! Theseโagainโare all based on personal experience, but if you have any questions about anything ask me. I also invite others to add their own opinions and suggestions! Being rude wonโt be tolerated!
so i made this lil jar for me and my boyfriend, to enhance our love. (please dont use this for the intent of forcing love on someone that hasnt consented/wants something like this). anyway heres the materials i used and how i thrust my intentions and love into it;
๐ Ingredients (from bottom to top): ๐
pink salt (love, cleansing)
rosemary (protection, love, lust, purification, healing)
marjoram (protection, love, happiness, health)
chickweed (fidelity, love)
catnip (love, beauty, happiness)
senna leaf (love)
blue verbena vervain (aphrodisiac, protection, cleansing)
rose hips (love, peace)
๐ Materials: ๐
jar (i would use a heart shaped one for purely aesthetics but i dont have one)
red/pink candle to seal it; for love magic (additionally, you could seal it with red or pink ribbon or yarn or string)
white candle (optional) for purity/cleansing
tumbled rose quartz on top (for a calm flow of energy; love)
๐ฅ What to do: ๐ฅ
๐ okay so first i lit my white candle and got all my supplies together and i was thinking about my boyfriend, and cute things and generally happy thoughts, and where iโd like to go further with our relationship. i put everything in the jar one at a time, still thinking about my intent (to enhance our love). that could either be our happiness or anything else that comes with a love spell (nsfw). HOWEVER, you can even talk to your jar, gush about your love interest, anything you want. you can put a taglock inside/around the jar too. i didnโt though, mainly because i keep the jar around things my boyfriend has given to me (love notes, doodles, etc.)
๐ next, drip the candle or tie your ribbon or string around the jar. think about how this is binding you together stronger than ever. about how much closer to your lover youโre getting and the warmth you feel from it.
๐ lastly, if you want to include this step, stick your rose quartz on the cooling wax to be the pinnacle of your jar, sending lovely soft vibrations of love. another additional thing you can do is leave the jar in the moonlight (full moon is best). im not wiccan or pagan, but of course you can incorporate an incantation or request help from a spirit or deity, or whatever you wish to do.
๐ lastly, you donโt have to follow this spell to a T. you can swap out anything you need to, add things if you need to or want to. this is YOUR love spell for YOUR lover and you can personalize this however you want! this is by no means a strict spell.
๐additionally, i would LOVE if you made something like this, or used this and sent me a photo of it or wrote a little message about it!๐
i store all the witchy things i find here
