headlines all about the "ceasefire talks" we have been hearing of literally since israel started unapologetically genociding palestinians. nothing about the metastatic famine in gaza, nothing about the fact that aid trucks have not entered gaza in months (last report of an aid truck successfully entering gaza dates all the way back to feb). nothing about the fact that most agencies have literally given up accurately documenting how many people have been killed. it's so fucking ghoulish. it makes me sick that i ever have to be part of a time period where this was allowed to happen

After 9 months of war we became exhausted, hopeless , desperate , and displaced. Houses and livelihood sources have been lost and gone with the wind. Things are driving us insane and made. The least level of life can't be attained. Healthy water and food have become a dream we need to realize. What worsens our life more is the constant bombings and killings. Dude, how can it be that every single fucking thing about US politics trends on here immediately, yet when 27 countries in the EU vote and there's a historic, alarming lurch to the right (far right parties have won the elections in Italy, Austria and France), it's not even trending? In Germany, the AFD, a right-wing populist, anti-democratic, racist party with a wing that is officially extremist (read: Nazis) and is in parts monitored by the office for the protection of the constitution, is the second strongest party (also among 17-24 year olds!). Guess I'll die.
