Operator’s Side (Microphone Bundle Edition)
(PS2/JP/January 30, 2003)
I was really happy to find this while thrifting in Osaka the week I got back to the apartment. This is one I was very much excited for as a child. The prospect of being able to interact with the character on screen by voice commands was very exciting! Well…it didn’t do so well over here. The voice commands in Lifeline (which is the US title) were hit-and-miss which dramatically affected gameplay for Western audiences…that is, until just a couple of years ago. This game suffered from poor localization which wasn’t made obvious until shortly after this clip from 4Player Network caught some traction. So if you’re not Japanese and decide to play Lifeline with an embellished Japanese accent, the game will have a higher chance of co-operating with you…

a few stardew funger edits… i actually had this idea a few months ago, but haven’t really had the time to work on it because of life and whatnot. i also had a bunch of funger 2 characters done, but they’re a little undercooked atm. for now, enjoy marina ^^
today I learned Marina can hold guns
