Design Notes for PJ:
-Error patches up the tears on his scarf! Very nice of him to do.
-All the art materials he has stashed on his belt are for food. He likes to snack on em often.
-Because of Error's..."tolerance" of him, he has more strings that he can use. He's got enough to form legs.
-Fresh gifts him magical ink durable Heely shoes! Instead of shedding footprints all over the place, he can instead heely/skate around and leave behind lines. He's creative on using it during battles. He would never admit it, but he appreciates the gift.
Design Notes for Gradient:
-I based his outfit off ye old web aesthetics like Cyber Grunge,,, I really liked the big pants look on him.
-I placed his scarf on his neck to match with his family, but also to match Template's scarf hehe, a little sign of his influence.
-You can't see it but his laptop bag has a ton of pins and merch of random dated internet references.
-His shoes looking old design Ink's shoes were complete accident but I liked it enough to keep anyway. Maybe Ink gave it to him and he spiced it up!

I have to speak about this more clearly or I will explode because I've been having thoughts... So much thoughts about ctommy
Obviously, tommy is a victim. Everyone knows that.
But the thing about tommy is that he's a "Bad victim", and something I've noticed in the fandom is that people mischaracterize/alter ctommy to fit a narrative that'll make him a better victim, if that makes sense
When it comes to a character like cranboo, a lot of people In the fandom tend to prefer him over victims like ctommys character. And you know why?
It's because cranboo's is an easier character to "Sympathize" with. A character that's easier for you to defend compared to ctommy, and we know that with how much some people literally defend dream abusing ctommy with "But he was annoying!!" Or "He burned down George's house!!" (THE TRENCHES OF DSMPTWT DISCOURSE... 2021)
Tommy cannot keep relationships, tommy is flawed. He always has been flawed but the abuse that was done made him more flawed, he acts out, he has angry outbursts and he's easily irritable, he has abandonment issues and he works impulsively. He has more enemies than friends because everyone on the server refuses to acknowledge that a child got abused. And they refuse to acknowledge that the said child is not "acting out" but instead handling his trauma the best way/only way he can to protect himself
Tommy is more angry than sad at the world. He tries his best to not be like c!Ranboo, he doesn't always try to mend his relationships because he is *scared* of them. Because, how can he really trust them? He can't. People—The *adults* have proven him that time and time again
I absolutely adore how cc!Tommy gave us such a raw and realistic victim, accidentally or not. Since we know that 75% of the time cTommy was just cc!Tommy doing whatever on the server and accidentally getting himself into shit. ctommy is so incredibly flawed and realistic in how he acts, how he has more enemies than friends—All because of the adults on the server neglecting a child. Seeing him as mature yet not all at the same time. Getting angry and annoyed when he lashes and acts out yet almost disturbed when he finally does something "right" ("mature" and unexpected from him)

Gnawing at the bars of my cage ctommy was Never aloud to be rude and mean and loud and childish and immature and ALSO a victim . it was one or the other. people found the first endearing but if he REMAINED himself and remained loud and brash they didnt believe he was traumatised. he had responsibilities and trauma way past his age as a war veteran but also he was just a fucking kid you could disregard so so easily like an annoying fly. but also if he BEHAVED like a kid that was immature. but also you couldn't accept if he behvaed more maturely than that . and when he lashed out he was just being an annoying kid. EXCEPT if he lashed out about his trauma in which case he was attention seeking or just straight up rude. and that trauma didn' thappen because CLEARLY how could dream have made you suicidal and quiet and stolen your fire if you're here screaming in my face. obviously . and just let go of l'manberg and family and life you're clinging on too hard and too desperate and not pretty or quiet enough IMGONAN THROWW UPPPP

I find cctommys persona SOOO funny because other people talking about meeting him or being his friend off camera are like "he's incredibly kind, very considerate guy, he was so helpful to me" and you hear stories of him being sweet and emotionally vulnerable. And then on camera he's like "HI WHO WANTS TO BE A LITTLE SHIT TO EVERYONE I AM AN ASSHOLE AND THATS FUNNY IL'L DO ANYTHING FOR THE BIT. WOMEN."
The epitome of this is when we hear for valentines day molly got him a beautiful present that reminds him of techno who he was close friends with and he cried because it was such a lovely thing for her to do. And then on-stream tommy tries to make it fit his general persona by going "and she got me a BOOK. LAME! Who likes READING? 🤮🤮 LMFAOOO. How SHIT"
GENUINELYY he tries so hard to push the asshole rich kid spoiled youtuber persona and then you go his friend's stream and it's like "oh yeah tom gave up his lung for me last week" like😭 and then you have people who only see the first facet and theyre either dudebros who fall for it completely and make tiktoks of his clip on logan paul's interview putting sigma music over him lying about being a billionaire, or on the opposite twitter users who will post "free molly" completely genuinely bc they think tommy is actually Like That. it's kinda funny
