Super padres un magnifico trabajo en lo prrsonal muy origiinales

A lidded box that was made for a friend of mine.  It’s oak from the Adirondack region of NY state, with a button of Walnut on top and a healthy dose of polyurethane.  I attempted to fill the cracks with a red epoxy, but it wasn’t cooperating.  The crack was filled, but didn’t quite turn out as I’d hoped it would.  I honestly have no clue, what that wood is that I sandwiched in the middle.  It was left in my garage by someone.
