i am the type of witch you read about in story books.
i wear a long pointy black hat.
my skin, pale as moonlight.
an old fashioned broom lies beside my front door.
no one has ever seen my garden.
no one knows anything about me regardless of the fact that i moved into the neighborhood long ago.
i never seem to age.
sometimes two stray black cats linger about my front yard suspiciously.
and sometimes if you are in the right place at the stroke of midnight on the night of a full moon you may see a flicker of a dark silhouette.
Usually when I get sleep paralysis I feel like I’m floating in warm water or other such pleasant things. Recently I finally had a creepy sleep paralysis episode where a twisted inhuman hand crept up and clutched the edge of my blankets as a voice whisper shouted, “That’s GAY,” and I woke up.
