I think butters says "I love you" to cartman a lot, even before he realizes it's romantic attraction, and cartman gets used to it so he just brushes it off

If he confesses his romantic feelings I think he would be be kinda shy about it and try saying it earnestly so cartman understands he means it differently, (like the gif where he draws circles with his foot shyly) but cartman does not or.. Brushes it off sdfgh
