I just can’t figure it out? Why are some women so desperate that they want a guy like K? It just baffles me. I’m a straight, married woman and can’t figure it out. These women says things like his one line in the movie “my love is not fragile” makes his char completely relevant. But he was fragile 99.9% of the movie, so it didn’t even show his love not being fragile. I’m just so confused. His char is awful in this movie. Please ladies don’t settle I beg you.

I was checking a facebook group of dolls’ collectors the other day, and a dude was selling Frozen’ Kristoff, Elsa (teenager dress) and Anna (green dress) + dolls from other stuff.

A woman asked the price of “that handsome guy out there”, and for real I couldn’t figure out she was asking for K’s price.So, you know…..I don’t see the appeal.

That said, it always made me laugh how they focus on his line: “My love is not fragile”.Ok K, too bad that was not the problem.

The whole movie was about Anna not paying attention to him, we know he’s obsessed with her (I would have said “he likes her”, but then F2 came and I have to call it “obsession”), the problem has never been how much he “loves” her. So that line just leaves me uninterested.

Is it supposed to be a revelation of some sort? I dunno.

Something worth of being noticed would have been Anna doing something that proves she loves him, and he saying “oh, I knew it!” But it’s not happened. So I dunno why they’re so happy about that line. Yes Kristoff, we know she’s your only option. That’s why she keeps leaving you behind. Keep going man! XD

What do you think if as long as Anna and Kristoff are married, it turns out Kristoff is having an affair with another woman? I think Anna doesn't deserve Kristoff any longer. And they will break up after that.

If we were talking about a real life couple then Kristoff and Anna wouldn’t have lasted a week together. They probably would have never met, in fact. 

But that’s too adult a storyline for Disney and the creators wouldn’t do that to beloved kristanna lol 

I wish Lee and Buck had the courage to break them up bc Kristoff doesn’t want the lifestyle that comes with royalty. It makes sense for his character to not adapt to it. But no such luck so far.

Vuelie, i just want ask. Why you can call Kristanna is a true love couple even though Kristoff didnt love Anna at the first place and Kristoff didnt want to help Anna at the first place? What do you think of Elsanna and Kristanna actually? Do you think Kristanna just like brother-sister relation or love interest couple? Just don't be angry or annoyed okay? I'm just asking. Don't mean to judge or insult.

I think Kristanna is the perfect representation of not falling in love at first sight. We saw Anna fall head over heels in love with Hans upon their first meeting - a classic Disney trope that thank God, Elsa had called out - and we see her almost perish because of it.

Kristanna is a contrast to Hans/Anna because it took time for both Kristoff and Anna to like each other as acquaintances and then friends and later on, lovers. They’ve seen each other’s worst (Anna witnessing Kristoff’s grumpiness, rudeness, and reluctance to help - and Kristoff witnessing just how awkward, stubborn, and messy Anna can be) and they were able to still stick together and let that love blossom in the middle of all the challenges they’ve gone through in Frozen I and Frozen II. 

Kristanna isn’t a conventional Disney couple because their romance isn’t skin-deep and “perfect”. What they have is genuine and tested love - the kind of love that has been through shit. It’s not shallow, it’s not ostentatious yet empty, and it’s not easily destroyed. It’s not fragile.

I don’t think Kristanna has a platonic relationship at all. Their dynamic was not designed that way, and since Anna was written as a classic Fairytale Character (the opposite of Elsa, a Mythic Character) Anna would eventually end up having romance as a part of her story - it’s not an essential tool to make her more interesting or to help further build her character development; having a romantic relationship is an add-on - something she wants - and not something she needs to be whole.)

I think Elsanna exists mainly because both girls love each other deeply and they continue to be each other’s source of strength. Throughout FI and FII, it has been Elsa that Anna kept chasing after. Her entire journey (which also influenced the trajectory of her arc and character development) was dedicated to finding Elsa and convincing her that she’s loved and she belongs in Arendelle with her. Elsa, on the other hand, lived literally half of her life protecting Anna - and loving and missing and thinking of her in silence. It’s both a tragic and beautiful story. Both girls, the Mythic Character and the Tragic Character will not survive without the other literally and metaphorically. 

I personally do not see romance between these two canon blood-related characters, and it was only through pop culture and social media that I was exposed to “Elsanna”. I do understand, however, the dynamic that they have and why some people interpret it as romantic. I don’t necessarily agree with it because I fervently believe in the power of familiar/platonic love, but my thoughts are my own and it’s not my job to force it on people.

@elsannarights, since when you have been an Elsanna ship? Just don't be angry at me. I'm just like you, know that. We're both loyal Elsanna shipper. I just want to ask something. What is the real reason you really ship Elsanna honestly? Just don't be Annoyed at me, ok?

I am one of the OG’s which means I’ve been an Elsanna shipper since 2013. The first time I watched Frozen, I didn’t look into anything. I watched it a second time and started to notice things. I am quite observant. I don’t see things that aren’t there. The scene that really got to me was the coronation. Keep in mind, they’re two sisters that haven’t seen each other in 13 years and the first thing they had to say was how beautiful the other is in a flirting way.

Some of the reasons I ship Elsanna is because they weren’t raised together. They were separated as little girls and reunited as adults. They don’t remember how to be sisters. This is the biggest reason why Elsa and Anna have chemistry and it isn’t sisterly. Another reason why I ship Elsanna is because of how comfortable they are together and way too comfortable to be seen as related. The level of closeness they have is indescribable.

I love how far Anna goes for Elsa. We’ve seen all of the things she has done for her even putting her life on the line. Likewise, Elsa put Anna first. She acted completely different with her on the beach in the second movie. The whole ‘Only an act of true love can thaw a frozen heart’ comes across as romantic. That one line seals the deal on Elsanna.

So what is the real reason I ship Elsanna? They ony belong to each other and no one else. Elsa and Anna are soulmates. They were born to be together. They can never be in love with anyone else. They’re taken. Elsa stole Anna’s heart and Anna stole Elsa’s heart. They fell in love by choice. Two girls that hardly knew each other? What did you think was going to happen? Elsa was practically a woman at 21. Of course Anna would view her like a crush that eventually turned into real love. Anna was 19. Of course Elsa would not see her as the little girl she made magic with. Too many years passed. Falling in love was inevitable for them.

@hereisisa, do you think Kristanna can call as true love couple? In my opinion i guess no.

No because the true love couple in Frozen is elsanna. It’s what made the movie different....

Remember in Frozen, when everyone was waiting for Hans to kiss Anna and save her? He didn’t, so everyone waited for Kristoff to do it.....And he didn’t.

What made Frozen special is that it’s a Disney movie where true love is family, a sister. If you change it, you kill the message of the movie. Something people as Kristen Bell should remember.
