personally i like the idea of bakugou using deku and izuku interchangeably. like he’ll use izuku most of the time but when deku is being exceptionally stupid (which according to bkg is a lot of the time) he just sighs and goes …deku.

because now when bakugou says deku it doesn’t mean useless, it’s a fondly exasperated you’re so dumb, deku. why are you like this. i missed you so much. i love you.

and deku has mixed feelings because on one hand izuku but on the other hand sometimes he likes hearing deku from someone who doesn’t just see him as a hero. so whenever katsuki says deku he just lights up because in a way it’s how he remembers bakugou has finally forgiven himself and is able to say deku and that just makes izuku really happy. also bakugou just sounds so mad and deku finds that hilarious. he likes to annoy his bf

deku still says kacchan because he straight up doesn’t remember bakugou’s first name, and also because both deku and katsuki like the name kacchan. it makes them happy to remember a time when things were easier, and also kacchan is the name deku has said in fear, happiness, surprise, and more. deku doesn’t want to let go of it, because in some way it shows how much they mean to each other.

also also deku saying kacchan all the time unless him and bakugou are in private (although bakugou had to remind deku what his first name is) so everybody thinks deku’s too shy to say katsuki but when they’re alone deku’s like kaaatsukiiiii and bakugou full on tomato face gay panic amity blight blushes

i am really sorry if you have met bkdk shippers that ignored bakugou’s bullying, tried justifying it or even blamed izuku for everything. i am genuinely sorry if that happened. those fans/shippers are horrible and we don’t claim them.

But the majority of bkdk shippers DO acknowledge the tension between the two in High school, and they DON’T try to justify it and they ADMIT that bakugou was a complete asshole and was treating izuku like shit. And we also DON’T think that the “jump off the roof scene” was “romantic” or “cute” or “just kidding, fun and games”.

I don’t want to start a war and i’m not gonna say anything bad about your opinions or your ships if you have any, i just wanted to say that not everyone is like that. the weird bkdk fans are probably like 10% of our community, and again. We don’t claim them.

I really hate how some of the b*ku//deku shippers are like "why do you want my ship to have an abusive dynamic so bad?" And then they just.

Ignore everything B*k has done to Izuku and even shift the blame onto Izuku to "justify" b*k

can horikoshi just stop... trying to make it look like bakugou cares for midoriya because the way he acted towards him for over 10 years all because he was insecure, does not seem like he cares for Midoriya one bit. Like, at all.

It's like his character keeps doing a complete 180 at random times. He's threatening to kill Midoriya one day now he's worried about him the next. Literally what is going on with his character???

or better yet, just kill him off and forget about this nigga completely he has no use for this series anymore and his "character development" is heading towards a dead end man

i think at some point, when izuku became sassy and confident, he would be just joking around about his “childhood trauma” in a sarcastic way and bakugou would be like super concerned about it, thinking that maybe he’s doing something wrong.

Izuku, being ironic: aah jeez i’m so tired i would jump off a roof to kill myself..

Bakugou, being genuinely worried: no please, don’t do that, i love you, is it my fault?
