I think this is the first art i've posted here in possibly over a year. uh. lol. based on the popular pic of anne hathaway from 2009 Twelfth Night. This is a minor crackship-that-is-rapidly-ceasing-to-become-a-crackship from a fantasy (theoretically, romcom) AU with @thefandomcassandra about Kay and Trucy parent-trapping their respective father figures...even though one is the feared Fallen Angel, The Demon King, and the other is the Hero of the Realm, Ordained by the Heavens to slay him.

(The Kitakis and Alderman Kyubi are kitsune, ofc, and have a bit of a habit of meeting up in the spring, getting wasted on shrine offerings, and making out about it, when they're not guarding their respective communities, running one of many bakeries, or mayoral duties.)

The war has not only destroyed our lives; it has taken everything from us. Our home, which was once our refuge, is now a pile of rubble 🏚️.

My car, my only source of livelihood, was destroyed in a sudden strike 🚗, and the work that sustained us is now a distant memory 💼. Today, I live in an endless nightmare. Under a sun that burns everything in its path 🌞🔥, my family and I sit in a worn-out tent, a tent that shields us neither from the summer heat nor the winter cold ❄️. Insects 🦟 invade the place, diseases consume our bodies 🩺, and my younger siblings cry from hunger and thirst 🍞💧. We have no clean water or a crumb of bread to ease our hunger. As he suffers from severe pain, I cannot provide the treatment he needs due to our dire situation.

My Siblings Are in Constant Suffering ⚰️ My brother Omar was unable to continue his studies due to the situation. My brother Nader could not take his high school exams, and my younger brother Mohammad suffers from brittle bones and needs treatment we cannot afford. Every day we live brings us one step closer to the end. Death surrounds us from every side: if not from hunger 🍽️, then from illness 🦠. And if not from illness, then from the despair that devours our souls. Where is Humanity? Day 6 : Trek

Its a simple drawing with Athena doing her weekly trek or daily, who knows how much she likes walking. Anyways, don't mind the dusky bridge behind her ;)

Day 5 : Binoculars (spying on the prosecution) + a short comic

Still sick but gotta do it for Athena. I think it will be a cool idea where to make the investigation harder or more interesting where we play as Athena and we have to use binoculars and her super hearing to get information from the prosecution. This is just a random thought but anyways have this simple comic.

Day 4 : Exotic

Im sick but Athena is Athena so heres she is. I made her have an owl because of Owl of Athena and thats basically it. Idk if this counts as exotic but its exotic enough for me anyways heres them bonding. This is platonic btw

Day 3 : Boots

Gotta dress her up a bit more of a casual pirate kind of vibe, I wanna add more specific like merch of like orla and crew on her but I dont wanna tire myself out so this is the best I could do

I love Phoenix Wright's complete lack of empathy.

I love how he is mean and demeaning. I love how he thinks everyone around him is stupid.

I love how he doesn't actually care about his clients, not most of them, anyway, but he defends them because he knows it is the right thing to do.

I love how there are like three or four people he actually cares about, and he doesn't give a flying fuck about anyone else.

I love how he gets kind of obsessed about them.

I love how he is quick to love, how he melts the moment anyone gives him any sort of positive attention, to his own detriment.

I love how he gets depressed when he is alone, how closed off he is to the people around him, rarely ever talking about himself, hiding information until it is imposible for him to keep doing it.

I love that he can be conniving and sneaky and stingy.

I love how he, too, struggles with black and white thinking.

I love how despite all of this, Phoenix Wright is still fundamentally, to his core, a good person. He is overwhelmingly kind, and honest, and self-sacrificial. He has strong morals and he sticks to them with an iron grasp, he sticks to them until they break him. Phoenix wakes up every day and instead of choosing violence he chooses to help people in need, even if he personally dislikes them, even if they have betrayed him in the past.

I love how he looks painfully normal at first glance.

And then you get hit with whatever is wrong with him.
