Fuck the Taliban
1237 days since the Taliban banned teenage girls from school.
777 days since the Taliban banned women from going to university.
Afghanistan stands alone as the only country in the world systematically denying girls the freedom to learn.
teaching children that they are allowed to walk away and cool off if they are feeling overwhelmed might literally save their life as teens/adults
hereโs your reminder that a lot of the violence against women and homosexuals in africa is perpetuated by white christian missionaries.
white christian missionaries are responsible for the death penalty of homosexuals in uganda. they keep going over there and reinforcing the believe of homosexuality being a sin.
itโs their fault that some african girls and women have experienced unfathomable acts of violence โ by constantly influencing them to engage in purity culture.
death to christian missionaries and anytime they go to a country or tribe where they are not welcome and get killed for it, i laugh and smile. :) remember to persecute your local evangelical fundie. <3

Joan was acquitted in 1975, and she is still alive today.

It's very interesting to listen to history lectures that first say that there was no slavery at a certain period of time, and then follow it up with something like: "women didn't have the right to marry at their free will, property was passed down from father to son..." and so on.
you are absolutely sure that there was no slavery, right?
