it's okay if your art isn't impressive to your friends, it's okay if you're not very good at any of your hobbies, it's okay if you don't share your life on social media. you don't have to be good and you don't have to prove anything. your life isn't a performance.

If we can't rid the queer community of anti-masculinity, you will always be imposing a level of womanhood on trans men, which is inherently transphobic. A trans man should be able to live his life, embody his own masculinity without being admonished for it by people who claim to be progressive. Degendering us is not a compliment, malgendering us is not gender affirming. Women are not more virtuous than men and that sentiment is misogynistic.

We're men and we deserve basic human respect as any other person should be given. That basic human respect is respecting our identity, realizing your biases and hangups with our identities have nothing to do with us and should not be imposed on us. Imposing biases on others' identities is exactly what conservative bigots do, there is no 'woke' way to do that.
