Hi :D The blog I use as a main blog is @sobbingdistantnoises, send non band related asks there? <3-This blog is (mostly) purely for metal+punk bands I like and (mostly) purely for stuff I cut from a larger source myself: correct quotes, gifs, edits, clips, obsureish facts, the occasional other thing. I do my best to always include sources :) -I do not post here as much anymore, but I do still listen to almost exclusively metal+punk, so maybe eventually I shall make my proper return -<3

Hello hello, I figure I should make a pinned post explaining my existence eventually :)
I am mostly Dysti here on Tumblr, some people call me other stuff :D Draco, Javes, and Vapor off the top of my head

Honestly you're fine to send to either one if you forget, though blue account is my main for personal stuff (and in theory whatever I want) which includes asks, so this is getting reblogged there to keep asks in the same place!!
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE 72 Seasons!! Honestly it's so hard to pick a favorite song or even a few favorites because they're just all so good, but I think my favorites for now are Screaming Suicide, Room Of Mirrors, If Darkness Had a Son, Chasing Light, aaaaand I am on the way to naming the whole album so I will forcefully cut myself off, hjdjsjjs, album my beloved <3 I also have a (probably?) unconfirmed theory that Inamorata is about the book Misery by Stephen King, so I think about that a lot as I absolutely adore that book
New stuff I like, in terms of bands, I have been surprisingly steady for a while in what bands I've been discovering, but the main one I have been extremely in love with that I don't think I've mentioned anywhere on tumblr is Robespierre! They're unfortunately not on Spotify so I have to use YouTube + they only have two albums if I'm remembering right so there's not that much to listen to from them, but I am absolutely in love with their songs Decapitation and Robespierre, hfjskak. Also their French Revolution theme, big reason of why I listened to them in the first place (we ended up learning about the French Revolution in French class up to when the king was dethroned, but then I did research on my own and got really interested in it, so :)) ), and it makes me happy when I listen to the band :D
Also I have been reading BOOKS!! Finished Bruce Dickinson (Iron Maiden singer)'s autobiography just a couple days ago and really enjoyed it (plus for a lot of info out of it to store for later use!), so now I'm onto I Found My Friends, which is an oral history of Nirvana!! It's basically a lot of guys from the early Nirvana scene talking about what it was like where I'm at (~45% done), which is super interesting to me because it really goes into a lot of the culture of it. Plus I checked at the end and there's a list of all of their concerts!! With dates and such, plus corroborated by witnesses that speak in the book and played alongside them!!!

Note for people who may not know, just realized that's possible: a fanzine is just a fanmade magazine
It sounds kind of fun to make one, especially with 72 Seasons coming soon as a deadline, and I think it could be interesting to have a focus on small contributions of whatever from whoever: comments, art/doodles, favorite lyrics, fun stories, etc, literally anything. Just a general concept of being inclusive to anyone's contributions no matter what they are
Though, of course, this does require for there to be an anyone—so psst, that is you if you have any interest whatsoever!! If there's enough people interested to make it work, stuff will happen over on @metallica-zine; if not, I'll just delete the sideblog and no harm will be done except to my poor lonely heart
