Sorry for suddenly being inactive. I wanted to keep posting regularly, but I went on a vacation and didn't really make anything in advance.. hehe
Anyway, in case anyone's curious - next comic part will come out either this or next week, and there might be some other things coming out as well ;) I don't know how fast tho

I wanted to draw this comic for a long time, but I never knew how to approach this issue. In my childhood all my friends had budgies, all of them were put aside somewhere and left alone. Treated like “annoying” decoration. Don’t get a bird if you can’t meet its needs.

I haven’t finished the next comic page yet, so meanwhile here’s a quick, silly little thing I did with two edgelords making jokes
Thought that just hit me like a truck:
From what we see from the Cast-Off Shell, if PK’s original wyrm form had eyes, they were set very wide and far-back on his head- and likely not that large, either. That would suggest an enormous blind spot in front of their mouth, which isn’t a very useful idea without something to close it.
So what if wyrms use sonar?
Sperm whale echolocation can mess people up at close range. Wyrms are, probably larger than sperm whales. Wyrms are hardly mundane creatures, but it’d lend something really interesting to the discussion HK canon has about faith and godhood, if wyrms are capable of something supernatural and terrifying- an invisible sonic weapon of eldritch pitch- but this is not really something magical at all, but rather, a practical and functional origin, just one with devastating effectiveness on other creatures.

Sudden help from a stranger
team cherry mentions that silksong has a questlog where hornet has a record of all the quests she still needs to do and i know that’s partially a UI and game/mechanic choice but also
now i have this image of hornet dutifully writing down all the sidequests she still needs to do in a neat organized notebook and perfectly crossing them off when she’s done
while the knight, with no sidequest list, puts a pin on their map and doesnt remember what it’s for and forgets to finish the path of pain because they got distracted by kingsmould lore and owns six king’s idols because they keep forgetting to sell them and there’s a three week old crushed delicate flower at the bottom of their bag and they really keep meaning to do the grimm troupe quest but they got caught up in delivering a flower to elderbug and also they’ve completely forgotten where the grimm troupe lantern is in the first place because they put a pin down on the map but there’s 50 different pins and none of them have labels

The best way for me to say things like that is through fanart (and jokes, apparently), so here it is. You’re awesome. Keep doing what you’re doing. Now back to my shy-hole -
I finally found my courage to post these two. There are so many awesome vessel ocs and they seem like so much fun I decided to try it myself. And so these two got born :D
Double is usually quiet due to some childhood trauma and natural “defect” in speech, but since they’ve met Pointy, they learnt it’s not so bad to talk afterall. Pointy on the other hand is rather talkative and has some serious daddy issues (which on itself isn’t strange for a vessel to have) and said issues are multiplied by the fact he looks so much like his father compared to his siblings. This often leads to bugs, or even other vessels to confuse him for PK, which annoys him greatly, and can be dangerous if met vessels hold a.. grudge, against their father. He tried to trim his clothes so they can easly see he’s in fact not PK, but it doesn’t always work...
I really like these two and I want to do more with them (comics, etc.) So if you’re interested in seeing more of them, stay tuned, and if not - sorry for what’s to come, I guess ;P

We’re only finding out recently that a lot of animals have colors and patterns that we cannot see because they’re outside of our visual range. It calls to attention how much of the world we can’t experience because our senses are limited. When we shine UV lights on them, they glow pink or blue, but these are the colors that we CAN see…. they could be a bunch of different colors, which we SEE as all pink. It’s also interesting to consider that most of these animals are not aware of having glowing patches on their bodies…. isn’t it also possible that we have skin or hair patterns that were not aware of? . . (There is actually some research out there to support the idea that our own skin fluoresces as well and that there are gender differences in the pattern and glow.)
