Who is he??
Do you think birds and cats and dogs think of humans as these strange god beings?
Like, I just walked into the alcove that covers my bedroom door and my parrot looked at me with shock and awe when i opened the door. To him, I just made a solid wall move to allow us access. I turn on the light and Im bringing the sun back. I turn it off and Im putting the sun away for nighttime.
We move, and things happen around us. We bring life to our environment in ways I dont think animals could fully understand yet. Im not saying that some dont grasp at least parts of it, Im saying in general we are these long living giants that call the sun and dismiss it at a thought and make walls move.
I like making my parrot wonder about his tiny existance in a large world. I like, even more, is making him feel loved and like he has a place. Even if that place is making kissy faces at my Moofy plush.
an addition to the ice cream discourse,
A Jambu Fruit Dove. Such a pretty little bird.

Sometimes you look in someone's eyes and see that they are so tired and done with everything its sad to see that but sometimes you see it in yourself
I think one of the funniest things I’ve accidentally taught my parrot is yelling “WHAT?” The best part is that if he says something weird and and someone else says “what???” he usually repeats what he just said. Like just now, I was cooking in the kitchen and he heard me boiling water so he asked “you wanna noodle?” but I couldn’t quite hear him so I yelled “WHAT” and he repeated “you wanna noodle?”
Mostly he just likes yelling it, though.
I set her down on the carpet and she continued her bath dance.
