If you're a single issue feminist and you want to raise your son to respect women but you also use authoritarian parenting, you're pretty much guaranteeing that your son will be sexist. If you deny any struggles that he has and you expect him to care about women's struggles, you're pretty much guaranteeing that he will see feminism as women getting special treatment.
