I have been queerbashed.

I have narrowly avoided being queerbashed more than once.

And it was specifically for being a trans man.

So no, I don’t have time. I don’t have patience. I don’t have sympathy or bandwidth or whatever other soft little thing people want me to give when they deny or downplay the very real, very visceral, very dangerous oppression that people like me, that I, live through.

You want to have a thinkpiece moment? Do it somewhere else. You want to play the “who has it worse” game, or twist your mouth around some academic garbage to try and erase or diminish transmasc people? No. Out of my space. Out of my life. Out of my line of sight.

I am not a concept. I am not a theory. I am a human being who has been hunted. I am still here. And I am not interested in justifying my right to speak or exist. Not to you, not to anyone.

Sometimes Tumblr is a lot like trying to explain a toddler that you can't eat bugs and spiders because that's bad for you, and then someone shows up to lecture you about how spiders are a completely different class from insects, also you got "centipede" and "millipede" mixed up, so obviously you don't know anything about what you're talking about.

And if you try to answer like "do you want me to just let this kid just eat bugs or what", they'll get offended because correcting you about being wrong has nothing to do with implying that anyone would be eating bugs off the ground, obviously nobody is stupid enough to be doing that in the first place, that's a straw man and insulting to every group of people ever.

And then you look up at the other side of the yard and the toddler is there right back at it, slurping up centipedes like spagetti.

Our world is full of hate rn, and so I just want to post a little positivity.

it's always "i don't judge !!" until a person is a therian or just nonhuman in general, their religion is something they don't agree with or don't see as a "real or valid" religion [like satanism or autotheism], they identify with xenogenders and use "weird" pronouns, they have a "cringy" style like emo, scene, goth, or harajuku fashion, they're disabled, they act childish and age regresses, they have extreme intrusive thoughts, they have "odd" interests, they don't have proper hygiene because of poor mental health, their identity "doesn't make any sense", they're "too fat" or "too skinny", or they're just "not attractive". stop cherry picking, you can't claim "you don't judge" when you can't accept these people. be better. /srs
