Why do people think that Snape was friendzoned by Lily? By definition being in friendzone means that one friend rejects the other friends’s feelings and as far as we know nowhere in books we see Snape actually telling Lily that he loved her romantically, therefore he couldn’t have been ‘friendzoned’. I do understand that people who hate Snape want to make him look pathetic and the butt of the joke by saying he was friendzoned by Lily, but it’s just not true. It’s not canon.
