I’m stealing this idea from another blog, and changing it a little! Everyone who reblogs this by the 31st will get a ghost-type baby Pokemon for spookytimes!
Edit: Do you all want this to include Legendaries or Pokemon that evolve into ghost-types?
I have made The Dream SMP Powerpoint, a collection of clips, VODS, animatics, and helpfully organized information to concisely explain the story of the first season of the ream SMP. I’m going to continue editing it, but it currently covers the L’manburg revolution to the final battle.
If you have suggestions for how to improve it, send me an ask!
Update: just got a friend to go through this with me, and she is now in love with Wilbur Soot. It works!

Would it be possible to get the ability to add "read more"s to posts on the mobile app? Currently we have to get onto a browser to add in a "read-more" cut.
Hi! Thanks for the question 💓
You can add a read more link from the apps by typing :readmore: in a post.

It’d be nice to have a "read more" button in the post editor in the apps. Maybe that’s something we can get on our roadmap. Keep an eye on Changes for updates.
Hope that helps!

what song makes you feel better?
what’s your feel-good movie?
what’s your favorite candle scent?
what flower would you like to be given?
who do you feel most you around?
say three nice things about yourself (three physical and three non-physical).
what color brings you peace?
tag someone (or multiple people) who make you feel good.
what calms you down?
what’s something you’re excited for?
what’s your ideal date?
how are you?
what’s your comfort food?
favorite feel-good show?
for every emoji you get, tag someone and describe them in one word.
compliment the person who sent you this number.
fairy lights or LED lights?
do you still love stuffed animals?
most important thing in your life?
what do you want most in the world right now?
if you could tell your past self one thing, what would it be?
what would you say to your future self?
favorite piece of clothing?
what’s something you do to de-stress?
what’s the best personal gift someone could give you (playlist, homemade card, etc.)
what movie would you want to live in?
which character would you want to be?
hugs or hand-holding?
morning, afternoon or night?
what reminds you of home (doesn’t have to mean house… just things that remind you of the feeling of home)?
Do Not Stand at My Grave and Weep
Poem by Mary Elizabeth Frye
Hi! I am sending my friend a pen pal package and gifts in the mail. I am new to mailing things and was wondering if you had any kind of suggestions? I also am not sure what to include in the letter I want to write him since we talk almost every day. He likes reading and anything trippy. Thanks in advance!
Hi babe, first off you are a incredible and your friend is going to love whatever you send. I am still learning how to send packages so I can’t give too many tips in that regard BUT I have a few suggestions about presentation.
Packaging makes even the smallest gift feel expensive: I love saving tissue paper from Christmas and online shopping packages as well as the bells and whistles such as the little bags, cardboard backing, washi tape, etc. I love padding the bottom with some decorated tissue paper and wrapping 1-2 of the total gifts with some wrapping and twine. It looks beautiful and makes that 1$ magnet feel 20$.
Its all in the Note: The best touch to a package is the note. It can be placed at the top of the package to be read first or tucked in a book (if thats a gift, more on that below). It can be the size of a index card, written in fountain pen with a small envelope tucked with a sticker because who doesn’t love a sticker. While yes you talk every time, but why these gifts? Why are you sending it to them? You wanted to send them something that made you think of them (my favorite reason) or a special occasion or you wanted to celebrate them and their mind.
A La Gifts: Every time someone has sent me a book I cry. There is nothing more euphoric than ripping off the brown craft paper off a book and seeing that scuffed well loved cover and reading a inscription on the first page. It is the most underrated love language in the entire world. I would send everyone a book this way if I could. If you can I suggest buying a thrifted copy especially if its a older book. There are some fantastic resources online to buy thrifted books. Now regarding specialized book for your pen pal I would recommend some of the following:
The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test by Tom Wolfe
Naked Lunch by William S Burroughs
The Crying of Lot 49 by Thomas Pynchon
Slaughterhouse - Five by Kurt Vonnegut
Rosemary’s Baby by Ira Levin
I hope this wee guide has helped you and when sending the package reach out to you local USPS or whatever postal service you use and ask how to compile the package and/or letter.
Good luck!
xx Savannah
OKAY SIT DOWN SHUT UP, WE’RE GONNA TALK COLORS
THIS IS SAPPHIRE
THIS IS TEAL
THIS IS PERIWINKLE
THIS IS AZURE
AND THIS IS TURQUOISE
WONDER WHY THOSE ALL DON’T LOOK LIKE THE SAME COLOR? BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT
OTHER THAN BEING PART OF THE SAME FAMILY OF BLUES, THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME FUCKING COLOR! WHY WOULD THEY ALL BE THE SAME FUCKING COLOR! DO YOU THINK WE JUST NAME NEW COLORS FOR KICKS!?!?!?
WHEN DESCRIBING A CHARACTER’S GOD FORSAKEN EYE COLOR, PICK ONE YA GODDAMN HIPPIE
As I am preparing for Camp NaNo*, I have been working on my story file. It occurred to me this might not be common or popular practice. “Story File” is a name I gave it and maybe some of y’all have a different name with the same contents.
*There’s still time to apply to join my Camp NaNo cabin!
It’s broken up into major categories and specific templates. So without further ado, here is how I structure my Story File.
Title
Logline
Synopsis
Genre
Estimated Total Length (word count)
Draft Length Goal (word count)
Character Bank
Main characters and brief, one-sentence descriptions with ages
Central Question
The Yes/No question that is being asked through the whole story
Should have objective qualities, rather than subjective
i.e. “Will they fall in love?” (subjective) vs. “Will they leave their partners and become a couple?” (objective)
Thematic Questions
These are the internal conflict questions that reside in your character(s) and your story
ex. “Can there really be a successful government?”
ex. “Does grief excuse bad actions?”
Themes at a Glance
Words or phrases that relate to the themes of the story
ex. person vs. nature
ex. isolation
ex. grief
ex. first love
Motivation / Stasis State / Final State
for each main character, you should write a sentence or two pertaining to these three things
Motivation: What is the drive behind this character and their past, present, and future actions? What part of their background makes them the way that they are? What are they looking for? What do they want out of this/a situation?
Stasis State: What are they like before the inciting incident? What problems and questions do they have?
Final State: What has changed about them and their outlook? What questions have they resolved? What has happened to their internal conflict?
Relationships
I usually make a little web of the MCs and their relationship to one another. One for the stasis and one for final.
Stasis: How do these characters see each other? How do they act toward the other? (All before the inciting incident)
Final: How do these characters see each other now? How has their idea of one another shifted?
Even if a character dies before the end, include the most recent relationship status in the Final web.
ex. this is how I organize it, using the Draw feature of Google Docs
This is just a very preliminary character bank. If you prefer a more in-depth one, check out my 6 Box Method.

Life tips?
I’ll answer this question by echoing notes I’ve left for myself in my journal:
Eyes on the prize while you stop to smell the roses
You are loved, even when you don’t feel like it and even when those that love you don’t do it in the most efficient ways
Try not to take shit personally, everyone is just projecting
The success you’re looking for is in the work you’re avoiding
If he isn’t in awe of you, he doesn’t deserve you
Outgrow feeling like you have to play small to protect peoples feelings
The pain of self-discipline is better than the pain of regret
If you allow a man to feed you he has the power to starve you—be independent and have your own income and assets
If God puts rice in your basket, there is no point in wishing for soup—instead of wallowing in self-pity, make the most of your situation and excel
Fashion is for your everyday life, not just for big occasions
Your brain changes more in your twenties than at any other time in your adult life—whatever it is that you want to change about yourself, now is the time to do it by building good habits
Speed is relatively unimportant, forward is forward
Low self-esteem often leads to adverse self-fulfilling prophecies; break the cycle and build a strong sense of self-worth
The people who reach the greatest heights are not always the strongest, nor the most intelligent; they are the most responsive to change
Some of these are truisms I’ve found on Tumblr, some are quotes from books I’ve read, some are wisdom I’ve received from the people in my life, and others are things I’ve realized from self-reflection. This probably wasn’t the most organized but I hope it was still helpful! ❣️
