Hi, my name is Darine Dawoud .
I'm 20 years old and currently live in Gaza. I was in my 3rd year of medical college in AlAzhar University in Gaza before the war on Gaza started on Oct 2023 . Me and my family of seven lost everything we own, our house , cars and money . Our dreams were all shattered and destroyed. The situation here is unbearable beinde imagination, no clean water , barely any food available, death and destruction everywhere.
Through these tough times I still find the time to volunteer and help kids in UNRWA refuge camps and shelters in Rafah City who need medical assistance.
We are trying to stay strong and positive in the face of this extremely hard and challenging day to day life here in Gaza . With your help and generic donation, I will be able to save my future and my family's. Thank you and God bless you .

A Cry from the Heart of Gaza: A Family Searching for Safety Amidst Destruction and Danger
Hello, my name is Abdulsalam Al-Anqar, I'm 26 years old, married to Aya Al-Batniji, and we have a little girl named Iman, who is one year old 👶. My family consists of seven members: my mother Iman (49 years old), my father Ahmed (54 years old), and my brothers Mohammed (14 years old), Nader (17 years old), and Omar (21 years old).
Due to the devastating war in Gaza, our homes were completely destroyed 🏚️, leaving us without a place to live. We were forced to flee south in search of safety, but that safety has been elusive. We have been displaced more than nine times, often finding ourselves in the line of fire, with military airstrikes occurring near our temporary shelters.
The hardest part is seeing the fear in my little daughter Iman's eyes 😔. We are now living in a shelter that is unfit for human habitation. The place is overrun with garbage 🗑️, with no proper sanitation, and the environment is extremely unhealthy. Because of these terrible conditions, my daughter Iman has fallen ill 🤒, and my parents’ health has also deteriorated.
We are trapped in southern Gaza, far from our home, which was completely destroyed, and we have no place to return to even if the war ends 🏠. Our most urgent need now is to escape the diseases and epidemics that are threatening us. After the World Health Organization announced cases of polio in Gaza, we feared for Iman's life and vaccinated her against this deadly disease on September 2, 2024 💉.
The only solution is to find refuge in a safe country like Egypt, where we can receive the medical care we desperately need 🚑. However, the cost of travel is between $6,000 and $7,000, a sum far beyond our means 💸.
We urgently need your help to save our family. Even a small contribution can make a huge difference in our lives 🌟.

I am like any young man seeking to provide a secure future and a decent life, and my family is like any family that has a desire to live and search for a safe life and a suitable environment. I was studying at the university and the rest of my sisters who are completing their educational journey, but we had nothing left, neither a home, nor a university, nor a safe shelter, but the occupation threw our hopes and our home was extremely difficult After our house was bombed, the occupation forced us to move to the southern Gaza Strip without shelter or a place in an unsuitable environment where diseases thrive in displacement camps. During our displacement from the northern Gaza Strip to the south, the occupation arrested me and I was tortured for many nights in complete darkness. I could not see anything and was subjected to violent torture. You are in dire need of treatment abroad.
And all my family has been exposed to diseases due to the conditions we are witnessing here.
And I would like to tell you, friends, that my father is disabled and suffers from chronic diseases, diabetes, heart pressure and is disabled without movement. My father needs treatment abroad so that he is not affected by the weaknesses we are experiencing due to the lack of health care here.
