the post 431 roomateism (lol he would wait forever)
even if the ending isn’t an alternate universe it still feels dystopian in a way that i feel like wont last. like i feel like it’s def part of gabriel’s wish or something? brainwash everyone into being slap happy and remember him as a hero while he gets to go be with emilie again? because also.. why do they need that many heroes?? what do they think they are fighting atp? monarch is gone and all they need to do is find his miraculous , and only maribug knows the truth so? i feel like maybe 5 max would suffice?? i have an unsettling feeling the cheerfulness shown from the hero team and the pool party is irrational and false and idk what to make of it really but it just all seems v fake like a perfect vision of the world that can only stand to crumble. and i think part of this happiness probably comes from the fact they have altered memories after the wish.. like what does adrien mean ladybug told him how his father helped her finish the fight .. i don’t think ladybug would say smth like that in her right mind because it’s clear she hated that mf … IDK!!!!!!!

edited hugh and rsl together around the time house and wilson would've first met (1991ish) because WHY NOT!
i'm thinking about "you and me against the world" (as one does) and honestly?
those two are so kind and selfless and they do their best to protect paris over and over
but if things came to a head and one of them is forced to decide between their partner and everyone else? i don't even have to say it, we all know the answer already
it's not "you and me against hawkmoth" or even "you and me for paris". it's "you and me against the world". they would condemn the whole world for their partner and i think that's beautiful
long live ladynoir
matchy fuckingg matchy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It’s important to recognise that Barbie (2023) criticises both the patriarchy AND the matriarchy. Yes, the Ken’s are just accessories to the Barbies. Yes, they don’t have any say in the government they live under. That’s the point, you’re supposed to feel awful, you’re supposed to want the Kens to have their own agency, you’re supposed to want equality. The Barbie movie explicitly states that the way Barbie treats Ken is wrong, so much so that once he finds a safe space for his masculinity and individual identity he’s so excited to share it with the other Kens.
But they go overboard and replace a matriarchy with a patriarchy and now the same issue exists but in reverse. That’s the POINT!! THATS THE POINT!!! Barbie is not anti-men it’s pro equality PLEASE understand this
all the things i've said are just a knife
