You don't have to force yourself to bounce back so quickly. I read something recently that said "when you come in from a rainstorm, you don't expect yourself to be dry and warm right away", and it really resonated with me. It's okay to take time to dry off and warm up. Take the time you need to process what happened to you.

First one is my old dnd character Stella Ophelia, a lil older than in the campaign i played her in with her beloved rapier

Second is sailor!ToonLink and mermaid!Nana as this has been FESTERING in my brain for a min

Third was drawn immediately after the second but honestly I am quite pleased with how it came out. Again, these two (T. Link and Nana from the ICs) have been f e s t e r i n g in my brain since 2014 bahahahaha
