I think the best thing abt Trollhunters is Jims' relationships with the adults in his life.

Non of the main adult characters are stupid. Im so tired of shows where the adults (both the good guys and the villains) are idiots [RC9GN, Danny Phantom, Star vs, etc.]

Jims' mom is such a genuinley good mom. She's trying her damn best, her reactions to her sons' shady behaviour is SO REASONABLE.

Jims' relationship with Blinky is so well done, I love how Blinky stepped up to be a father figure to Jim. I love how he's not just the bumbling nerdy advisor

Jims' beef with Strickler is hilarious. Strickler plays his cards well, he's not a fucking idiot, he doesnt let his own emotions and ego fuck up his plans (from what Ive seen while rewatching season 1 anyways)

Tl;dr I love reasonable adult characters in shows geared towards children

trollhunters yes yes yes the best part is that with the adult villains you genuenly feel the danger from them like nomura for example was ABSOLUTELY going to main/kill jim in that claire ep and during the whole fight with bular you could tell jim was hanging by a thread there and angor rot was LITERALLY the most scary threat in the entire second half of season 1 i love when the show lets the adult villains be actually scay and give us a reasonable view on why they'd be that big of a problem

alright so Pangur got her claw stuck while rolling over in bed, and then just GAVE UP, which led to her being horizontally flattened in a way that gives her impossible girth and...... I'll share, but just know that it's an optical illusion. please. I swear to god she's a healthy weight. I mean, a little chubby, but not like this.
