I Like How Some People Cannot Be Touched Because They Are Too Busy Enjoying The View On Their High Horse,

I like how some people cannot be touched because they are too busy enjoying the view on their high horse, and others cannot be touched because they learned how to deal with such things. I don’t like that either of those are a thing. The thing man most desires is either themselves or others, and that is very dangerous. Do not desire anything that will cause hurt or pain, because that will come back full circle, wether it be physical or psychological. In any case, what you must learn instead of this, is to learn how see the wisdom and feel the enlightenment within every problem you face. I may have only 16 years of experience, but I dedicate my every waking and sleeping moments to thought, knowledge, and above all else, life. That includes all good and bad things. And to see the beauty within all of it, that is a gift that cannot be tainted or taken.

The Mirror-Faced Grim Reaper in Meshes of the Afternoon (1943), dir. Maya Deren, Alexander Hammid

“This film is endowed with an acute sense of restlessness and alienation; reflecting this uncanny estrangement in the doubling, tripling and quadrupling of its central character, and in its cyclic narrative, a structure that seems condemned to repetition. Why is the hooded Death figure constructed as a kind of mirror? Are we dealing with Nietzsche’s notion of ‘eternal return’? (…) You could go on forever about the meaning buried in this particular work. It invites and eludes analysis.” – CINEMA AND DREAM-LOGIC IN MESHES OF THE AFTERNOON

It could be totally possible that invisibility has been discovered and only a handful of people who participate in it know about it.
