Every day, when Y/N wakes up, the first thing she does is grab her phone. She checks Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, even Tumblr; for updates on her favorite actor. She likes, comments, shares, reblogs everything with the name Sebastian Stan in it. Like every other fangirl, she imagines what her life would be like if she met him, if somehow, he fell in love with her. But she always shook that thought out of her head, she had just turned 21, and he was 34. The age gap was not that big, but it was something. She always made up different scenarios, where he spilled coffee on her, where he saw her walking and just had to talk to her. The fact that they both lived in the same city made it a little more possible for them to meet. She knew it was highly unlikely that she’d ever met him; but hey, a girl can dream.

When she first found out that he was attending a convention in New York, she immediately bought a VIP Admission ticket, Autograph and Photo Op as well. She read that he was going to be attending two days in a row, so she bought everything so she could meet him both days. She had been saving money to go on a trip with her friends, but this was way more important. It was the chance of a lifetime.

When the day came, she was ready. She hadn’t slept well the night before, but she could hide it with concealer. What she couldn’t hide, was her smile. She was so excited she was going to meet him, finally, after so many years of dreaming about him, seeing him on a screen, she was finally going to see him face to face. She was going to hear his voice, his laugh, see him run his hand through his hair. And she couldn’t be more excited.

FEW WEEKS LATER

She walked into the convention center, so many people were there, it was almost difficult to walk. She was there specifically to go to the Captain America: Civil War panel, which Sebastian was going to be in. The panel was supposed to start at 3:00 PM, it would finish at 4:45 and then the cast were doing signing and photos. She was there super early. She was wearing a black tee with The Winter Soldier’s silhouette and the words “Who the hell is Bucky?” The line to the CA:CW panel wasn’t that long, so hopefully she was going to have a nice seat. When the clock struck 2:30 the people who worked there opened the doors and started letting people in; there were about 150 people in front of Y/N, so she was on the first seat of the third road.

All the lights were off and a new exclusive trailer of the movie began on one of the big screens.

Quickly, many people took out their cameras and started recording the trailer; but she couldn’t move, she was in awe. He looked so good as Bucky, long hair really looked good on him. As the trailer ended, a guy walked up with a microphone.

“Hello, MovieCon 2016! Are you excited? Let me hear you!” he said and suddenly the whole crowd erupted in screams and applause. “Alright! Let’s start this party already, he’s beauty, he’s grace, he’s Mr. United States, please welcome Chris Evans who’s playing Captain America!” Chris walked on stage and everyone started screaming again. Y/N took her camera and snapped a few shots of him. “Now… only one person besides Batman can actually buy his powers, and that’s the one and only Mr. Tony Stark. Robert Downey Jr., ladies and gentlemen!” RDJ walked out waving and the room was filled with laughter and screaming. He bowed down before he sat next to Chris. He then continued with Scarlett, Elizabeth, Paul Rudd, Jeremy, Tom Holland, Paul Bettany, Don Cheadle, Chadwick Boseman and Mackie; there was only one seat left.

“Now… we have one seat left, does anybody know who’s gonna sit on that chair?” Y/N’s heart started beating fast, she knew exactly who it was. The crowd cheered and stood up “He’s Captain America’s best friend; HYDRA’s best trained assassin; give it up for Sebastian Stan as Bucky Barnes!” Y/N quickly stood up and started screaming. He looked so beautiful, his hair fell perfectly, nothing was out of place; he had the brightest smile on his face, he was waving at the crowd. When he sat down the rest of the crowd did the same thing, but Y/N was still standing. And she looked at him with such admiration and adoration. She realized he was so in love with him, he made her heart skip a beat, her cheeks got red every time she saw a picture of him, and she couldn’t help but smile when she saw that he was just a few meters away.

The girl next to her tapped her arm, bringing her back to real life, Y/N turned to look at her

“Are you okay?” the girl asked “You’re crying” she pointed out. Y/N touched her cheeks, she didn’t even realized that she was crying until that moment, she turned to the girl and nodded, looking around the room and she saw that everyone was sitting, she quickly sat down, not wanting to get any attention. She looked towards the table where all the actors were sitting and she could’ve sworn Sebastian was looking at her but rapidly turned his gaze somewhere else.

The guy hosting the panel started asking them some questions about the movie, how they felt about being a part of such a big project, etc.

“Now, Sebastian… personally, and I think a lot of people will agree with me, I think The Winter Soldier is such a complex character, but is also one of the most loved ones from fans, how do you not let any of the issues, the problems that Winter Soldier has get to you?”

“Well… when I first knew that they wanted me back for the Winter Soldier movie, they told me that I might get too much into the character, you know? And I knew that it usually happens with actor who play very difficult characters…” Y/N immediately thought about Heath Ledger(ily bae), “like some of us think, happened with Heath Ledger when he portrayed The Joker” she couldn’t help but smile, it was like they were connected. “I’m just really grateful that I have such incredible cast mates who’d cheer me up every day, uhm… I’d listen to music, and basically… yeah, the cast and crew really did help me get distracted after every day of filming” she smiled proudly at him.

So dim that spotlight, tell me things like I can’t take my eyes off of you

“Okay… what do you say, should we start with questions from the fans?” the host asked everyone on stage and they all nodded, “so each of you will choose one person to come up on stage and ask the question, alright?” Again, the whole cast nodded “who wants to ask some questions?” Immediately everyone lifted their hands, including Y/N. The cast got up from their seats and started walking around the room, hugging fans, some even accepted to take selfies. She kept her gaze locked on Sebastian; he was searching around the room for someone. He started walking towards the left side of the room, where she was sitting. Quickly a lot of people rose up from their seats to get a picture of him. He stopped many times to get pictures with people(can you actually do this? Idk ive never been in one), and she was happy to see that so many people loved him as much as she did. He started walking again, stopping a few more times before he got to where he wanted to go.

Which was right in front of her.

“Hey, do you want to come up with me?” his voice sounded like a whisper, she couldn’t breathe. His blue eyes looked at her, waiting for her to answer. But she was in awe, she couldn’t talk. Her eyes were wide open, she opened her mouth to speak but nothing came out, so instead she nodded. He smiled widely at her and took her hand; he started leading them towards the stage, never letting go of her hand. He glanced back at her, smiling at her again. “Nice shirt, by the way” he said

“T-thank you” she said smiling at him. She felt her cheeks get red, she never in a million years, thought that this would actually happen to her. They got to the stage and he offered his seat for her. She thanked him again and sat down, he stood behind her and placed his hands on her shoulders.

“Okay… everyone’s ready?” Everyone nodded and said yes “Alright, let’s start with you,” he said handing the microphone to the guy Chris Evans chose

“Hi, my question is for Chris, what’s something no one knows about you?” the guy asked and some started laughing.

“Uh… well, I grew up tap dancing, my mother was a tap dancer and made a tap floor on our basement, so I grew up with tap lessons” he said and everyone started laughing slightly

“Great, who’s next?” The host said pointing at the girl RDJ chose

“My question is for Paul Rudd, and I wanted to know… what annoys you most?” she said and Paul started laughing

“Great question, let me think about this for a second… uh, when people serve things on paper plates, I don’t like… I understand the convenience of paper plates, like when you’re on a picnic, but when someone serves something on paper plates that doesn’t need to be served on paper plates… I just don’t like it at all” he said shaking his head and everyone laughed again.

The questions kept going in the order the celebrities were seating, next it was Scarlett’s, then Elizabeth’s and so on. It was now turn for Mackie’s girl, all of the celebrities were sitting at the table except for Sebastian, who was standing behind Y/N.

“Hi, my question is for everyone, and it’s Snog, Marry, Avoid. With Bucky, Black Widow and Vision” immediately everyone started screaming and laughing. Y/N giggled and looked at Sebastian behind her, who looked at her too and winked at her. She smiled wider and looked down to everyone else, blushing. While the cast was giving their answers Sebastian leaned down and rested his elbows on the back of the chair, with his face next to Y/N’s.

“You have really pretty eyes, I can’t seem to keep mine off of you” he whispered in her ear and she held her breath. He left a small kiss on her ear, right on time to hear Mackie’s answer.
