I entirely forgot to share this... I'm very confused how I all of a sudden grew the ability to draw so well and how I figured out how to draw bodies but I did and I'm loving it!

You know when I was first exploring Mark's channel I watched Damien before even discovering Dark's existence. I didn't think much of it for some reason... Then I finally watched a Date with Markiplier, still completely unaware of Dark. On my first run I ran into Dark and I was so confused. When he said his whole "Did you miss me?" Thing I was like "Do I know you sir? Am I supposed to know you? I'm so confused? You look hot. Are you from a past video or something? What is your name?!" After choosing freedom I killed Mark because I'm left handed, and then what do you know It's Dark again, and for some reason I didn't care at all what happened to Mark I was more concerned about the ice cream! He gave me chocolate and he got the vanilla. That was my vanilla Dark! Then after that experience I did a whole ton of research on Dark... and then I discovered fanfiction... and then after months of not doing anything I watched Who killed Markiplier and everything finally came full circle for me... Well... After watching Mark explain everything in a past live... So ya... I have no idea why I rebloged this post anymore but enjoy the info I just spat at you.

Okay but the development of Dark as a character is so funny to me like.

Here's Mark in 2013, goofing around with spooky editing with Don't Move/Blink. And the fandom's like what if that were Mark? But evil??? And thus, Darkiplier is born. And Mark's like, okay you weirdos, have fun with that. And he kind of makes fun of the concept because it's a little silly, a little hokey, but fun!

2016, and we get Relax, ie Dark's debut as Mark's "emo vampire roommate". He's still poking fun, it's still a silly concept, you know. Mark, but evil. But wait. But fucking wait.

2017. A date with Markiplier, the vanilla/chocolate route. Mark's take on a serious Dark is a vicious, angry, contemptuous bastard who hates Mark with everything he has. Dark is Not Mark. He's manipulative and he wants to take what Mark has away. And the fandom loves him! What's his motivation, why is he so angry?, why does he hate Mark so much? What even is he?

2018. Who killed Markiplier. We meet the twins Damien and Celine. And okay, we don't know where this is going, only that we think Damien is actually Dark in disguise because he's too sweet, he's too good to be true. Celine is suspicious, but we're pretty sure Damien is the real bad guy here

Chapter four of who killed markiplier. We recognize those colors. Those are Dark's red and blue. Around here is where we start suspecting that maybe we dont know as much as we thought we did.

And it all comes together. Dark is the fused, angry vengeful souls of the twins, twisted by the demon in the house. He hates Mark because Mark killed them. Mark wanted a villain to for his story, and Damien and Celine, sadly, accepted that as their fate if it meant that they could destroy Mark.

2019. A heist with markiplier. We're back to Dark, fully formed, angry, twisted, vengeful. Hateful of Mark, manipulative of the audience. And he's more terrifying than ever. I mean sure he still delicately applies his eyeliners, but like. What a great character

Look guys I understand we're all used to calling Darkiplier an emo vampire but I don't honestly see that at all... I personally have started to call him a goth. Why you ask? Well I don't think he'd be listening to My Chemical Romance and all the other stuff in his off time. Many fanfic writers have made the 1920s the decade that Who killed Markiplier happens so I personally think Dark would either prefer absolute silence or music from around that time. Now what does this have to do with Dark being goth? Well we all know Dark is a depressed motherfucker and goth music most of the time is really chill and mellow music and most goth songs are about being sad. I know you're only goth if you listen to the music but style wise Dark also fits into the goth style category because goths also wear eye liner and are unbelievably pale and wear black and white like there in a back and white film so it just seems to fit him more. I'm sure Dark wouldn't mind listening to music like the Lumineers or maybe Fiona Apple because these artists aren't really known for being loud and focuses mainly on the words.

Emo makeup and the style itself seems very obnoxious (yes I know goth makeup can be very obnoxious sometimes too) and has a lot more color to it besides just black and white. I think Anti would be the emo one here, I mean I doubt he'd be listening to Boys Don't Cry by The Cure. I see Anti being the one to listen to My Chemical Romance and so on. Hell I'm sure he'd be blasting Metallica or some other metal band. He himself is quite obnoxious so emo fits him pretty well in my opinion.

Just wanted to get that brain worm out of my head. I'm hoping I didn't offend anyone in either of the communities I've talked about in this post. I've made playlists for Dark and Anti on YouTube music but they are unlisted so if any of you would like to see those I can make it public if you all really want. Tell me what you think about Dark being goth and Anti being emo if you really want and ya... Bye!

The girl is named Zoey and the boy is Zachary... The only other thing I've established about them is they're twins, Zoey is an eccentric and enthusiastic Extrovert and Zachary is a basic bad boy.
